Influences of a 500 kV DC resistive divider's stray parameters on measurement results

Abstract:The influences of electromagnetic transient on a 500 kV DC resistive divider are discussed based on the equivalent circuit considering stray parameters in this paper A finite element method is applied to evaluate the stray parameters of the DC resistive divider and PSpice software is used to simulate the responses of the equivalent circuit. The simulation results are analyzed and conclusions of influences on measurement results of the DC resistive divider are achieved.
