Abstract:In the crystal structure of the title compound, C(26)H(33)N(3)O(4), there are two crystallographically independent mol-ecules. The two cyclohexane rings are trans-fused; the ring neighboring the phenyl group is in a half-chair conformation and the other is in a chair conformation. The two nitro groups and the benzene ring of the dinitro-phenyl group are almost coplanar. Intra-molecular N-H⋯O hydrogen bonds and weak inter-molecular C-H⋯O hydrogen bonds are observed.

Abstract:The title compound, C(21)H(17)BrN(2)O(4), a 2-phenoxy-2-phenyl-acetamide derivative, exhibits a stereogenic center but crystallizes as a racemate as indicated by the centrosymmetric space group. In the molecular structure, the nitro-substituted benzene ring is coplanar [dihedral angle = 12.9 (1)degrees] with the plane formed by H-N-C(=O)-C=O due to intramolecular N-H center dot center dot center dot O hydrogen-bond interactions.

Significantly different C-N(nitro) and N-O bond distances are observed for the o- and p-nitro groups. Abstract:The crystals of the title compound, C15H15N3O4, were obtained from a condensation reaction of 2,4-dimethoxybenzaldehyde and 4-nitrophenylhydrazine. The molecule displays a nearly planar structure. The overlapped arrangement of nearly parallel benzene rings of neighboring molecules and centroid-centroid distance of 3.5642 (16) Angstrom suggest pi,pi stacking. Adjacent molecules are linked to each other via N-H...O hydrogen bonds to form a helical supramolecular structure.

Abstract:Crystals of the title compound, C(13)H(10)N(4)O(4), were obtained from a condensation reaction of benzaldehyde and 2,4-dinitrophenylhydrazine. The molecule assumes an approximately planar E configuration. Within the dinitrophenyl moiety, the average distance for the aromatic C-C bonds close to the imino group [1.417 (3) A] is appreciably longer than the average distance for the other aromatic C-C bonds in the same phenyl ring [1.373 (3) A]. This increased distance may be a result of the overlap of the non-bonding orbital of the imino N atom with the pi orbitals of the arene. It is likely that pi-pi stacking exists in the crystal structure.

Abstract:Crystals of the title compound, C20H15N3O3, were obtained from a condensation reaction of benzil and 4-nitrophenylhydrazine. The phenylhydrazone moiety assumes a planar configuration, and the nitro group and phenyl rings of benzil are inclined to this plane. Abstract:Crystals of the title compound, C15H13ClN4O6, were obtained from a condensation reaction of 2-chloro-3,4-dimethoxybenzaldehyde and 2,4-dinitrophenylhydrazine. Abstract:In the mol-ecule of the title compound, C(9)H(11)NO(2), the methyl C atom bonded to the ring and the N atom lie in the benzene ring plane. An intra-molecular O-H⋯O hydrogen bond results in the formation of a five-membered planar ring, which is oriented at a dihedral angle of 81.37 (3)° with respect to the benzene ring. In the crystal structure, inter-molecular O-H⋯O hydrogen bonds link the mol-ecules stacked along the b axis. There are also π-π inter-actions between benzene rings with a face-to-face stacking distance of 3.434 Å.

Abstract:The title compound, C19H18BrN3O3, was synthesized by the reaction of 2-methanesulfonyl-4,6-dimethoxypyrimidine and N-(2-bromophenyl)-2-hydroxybenzylamine in tetrahydrofuran. There are three different planes in the molecule, each of which is conjugated. The dihedral angles between the pyrimidine plane and the planes of the two phenyl rings are 107.85 (4) and 77.38 (2) degrees, and the dihedral angle between the planes of the two phenyl rings is 103.15(3)degrees.

Abstract:In the title compound, C14H16ClNO2, the cyclo-hexyl ring has a chair conformation. The dihedral angle between the benzene ring and the mean plane of the four planar C atoms of the cyclo-hexyl ring is 45.2 (3)°. The two carbonyl groups are trans to one another, with an O=C-C=O torsion angle of -137.1 (3)°. In the crystal, mol-ecules are linked by N-H⋯O hydrogen bonds forming chains propagating along [001]. A region of disordered electron density, situated near the unit-cell corners, was treated using the SQUEEZE routine in PLATON [Spek (2009 ▶). Acta Cryst. D65, 148-155]. It gave a solvent-accessible void of ca 400 Å(3) for only 21 electrons. It is probably due to traces of the solvent of crystallization and was not taken into account during structure refinement.
