Abstract:In the title molecular salt, C 7H 6N 3O 2S +·HSO 4 -, the 2-amino-6-nitro-1,3-benzothia-zole ring system is essentially planar [mean deviation = 0.0605 (4) Å]. In the crystal, N - H⋯O and O - H⋯O hydrogen-bonding interactions result in a layer motif.

Abstract:The crystal structure of the title compound, C6H8N4S22+.-2C(6)H(7)N(4)S(2)(+.)4C(7)H(4)NO(4)(-), comprises diprotonated diaminobithiazole (DABT) dications located on inversion centers, monoprotonated DABT cations and nitrobenzoate anions. The relatively short C - N( amino) bond distances, ranging from 1.310 (2) to 1.350 (2) angstrom, indicate electron delocalization between the amino groups and thiazole rings. Intermolecular N - H (...) O and N - H (...) N hydrogen bonds stabilize the crystal packing.

Abstract:In the structure of the title salt, C6H9N2+ center dot C7H6NO2-, the 4-aminobenzoate anions are linked to adjacent anions and 2-amino-4-methylpyridinium cations via N - H center dot center dot center dot O hydrogen bonds, forming a three-dimensional supramolecular structure. The crystal structure also shows a weak C - H center dot center dot center dot O hydrogen bond between adjacent anions. Within the 4-aminobenzoate anion, the carboxylate group is twisted by 14.0 (4)degrees with respect to the benzene ring.

Abstract:The title compound, C6H8N4S22+.C4H2O42-, consists of a diaminobithiazole (DABT) cation and a fumarate anion. The cation and anion are both located on inversion centers. Both ions display a planar configuration and link to each other through hydrogen bonding between carboxyl and amino groups, as well as through weak C-H...O hydrogen bonding between thiazole and carboxyl groups. The C-N(amino) bond distance of 1.323 (4) Angstrom suggests the existence of electron delocalization between the thiazole ring and the amino group.

Abstract:The title compound, [CoNa4(C8H3O7S)(2)(H2O)(12)](n), is a three-dimensional coordination polymer bridged by sulfoisophthalate trianions and water molecules. The Co-II atom, located on an inversion centre, is coordinated by two carboxylate groups of the sulfoisophthalate trianions and by four water molecules in a distorted CoO6 octahedral geometry. Two independent Na-I atoms also have a distorted octahedral coordination geometry formed by water, carboxylate O and sulfonate O atoms. An extensive O-H center dot center dot center dot O and C-H center dot center dot center dot O hydrogen-bonding network is present in the crystal structure, as well as weak pi-pi stacking [centroid-centroid distance = 3.9553 (11) angstrom].

Abstract:In the crystal of the title compound, 2C(9)H(8)NO(+).C4H2-Br2O42-. 2C(4)H(4)Br(2)O(4), the dibromosuccinate dianion and dibromosuccinic acid molecules each lie on an inversion center. They interact via hydrogen bonding. The hydroxy-quinolinium cations are hydrogen bonded to both the dibromosuccinate anion and dibromosuccinic acid molecules. The overlapped arrangement and short face-to-face distance of 3.431 ( 17) Angstrom indicate the existence of pi-pi stacking between hydroxyquinolinium rings in the crystal structure.

Abstract:In the title compound, C(8)H(5)NOS(2), the non-H atoms are approximately coplanar [maxium deviation = 0.060 (3) Å]. The dihedral angle between the least-squares planes of the pyridine and 1,3-dithiol-2-one rings is 5.96 (17)°. Abstract:The crystal structure of the title salt, [Mn(C10H8N2)(H2O)4][Mn2(C8H3O7S)2(C10H8N2)2(H2O)4]·4H2O, consists of mononuclear manganese(II) cations, dinuclear manganate(II) dianions and uncoordinated water molecules. The dianion is located about an inversion center; the MnII atom is coordinated by a 2,2′-bipyridine ligand, a sulfonatoisophthalate group, a water molecule along with two bridging water molecules in an octahedral geometry. The cation lies on a twofold rotation axis; the MnII atom is coordinated by four water molecules and a chelating 2,2′-bipyridine ligand in a distorted octahedral geometry. A partially overlapped arrangement between the bipyridine ligands and the aromatic ring of the sulfoisophthalate group of adjacent anions is observed; the distance (3.357 Å) indicates π–π stacking. Hydrogen bonds, with the water molecules serving as hydrogen-bond donors, lead to a three-dimensional network architecture.

Abstract:The asymmetric unit of the title compound, C20H16ClN3S, contains two independent molecules, A and B. In molecule A, the dihedral angles between the central benzene ring and the pendant chlorobenzene and phenyl rings are 6.37 (15) and 64.79 (15)°, respectively. The corresponding values in molecule B are 28.21 (14) and 82.11 (16)°, respectively. Each molecule features an intramolecular N—H⋯N hydrogen bond, which generates an S(5) ring. In the crystal, molecules A and B form dimers, being linked by two N—H⋯S hydrogen bonds with graph-set notation R22(8).

Abstract:The title compound, C16H12N2S4, was synthesized by reaction of 1,2-dibromoethane with the sodium salt of 2-mercaptobenzothiazole. The molecule has an approximate inversion centre, with two benzothiazole fragments having an antiparallel orientation, their least-squares planes forming a dihedral angle of 4.12 (12)°. The central four-atom S—C—C—S link is almost planar, its plane being approximately orthogonal to the benzothiazole planes [dihedral angles 84.98 (14) and 84.13 (15)°]. Intermolecular S⋯S interactions [3.657 (3) A] link the molecules in the crystal structure into infinite chains stretching along the [10\overline 1] direction.
