Abstract:The n-divided difference of the composite function h := f circle g of functions f, g at a group of nodes t(o), t(1),...t(n) is shown by the combinations of divided differences of f at the group of nodes g(t(o)), g(t(1)),..., g(t(m)) and divided differences of g at several partial group of nodes t(o), t(1),...,t(n), where m = 1, 2,..., n. Especially, when the given group of nodes are equal to each other completely, it will lead to Fah di Bruno's formula of higher derivatives of function h.

Abstract:It is shown that in Lagrangian numerical differentiation formulas, the coefficients are explicitly expressed by means of cycle indicator polynomials of symmetric group. Moreover, asymptotic expansions of the remainders are also explicitly represented as a fixed number of interpolation nodes approaching infinitely to the point at which the derivative is evaluated. This implies that complete explicit formulas for local Lagrangian numerical differentiation can be obtained.

Abstract:By using elementary symmetric functions, this paper presents an explicit representation for the Lagrangian numerical differentiation formula as well as the error estimate for local approximation. And we also point out that the numerical differentiation formula constructed by Li [J.P. Li, General explicit difference formulas for numerical differentiation, J. Comput. Appl. Math. 183 (2005) 29–52] is actually a special case of the Lagrangian numerical differentiation formula to approximate the values of the derivatives at the nodes.

Abstract:One of the main purposes of this article is to give functional equations and differential equations between Bernstein basis functions and generating functions of B-spline curves. Using these equations, very useful formulas containing the relationships among the uniform B-spline curves, the Bernstein basis functions, and other special numbers and polynomials are derived. By applying p-adic integrals to these polynomials, many novel formulas are also derived. Furthermore, by applying the partial differential derivative operator and Laplace transformation to these generating functions, with aid of higher derivative differential, not only recurrence relations and the higher derivative formula for B-spline curves, but also infinite series representations are given.

Abstract:The aim of this paper is to apply trigonometric functions with functional equations of generating functions. Using the resulted new equations and formulas from this application, we obtain many special numbers and polynomials such as the Stirling numbers, Bernoulli and Euler type numbers, the array polynomials, the Catalan numbers, and the central factorial numbers. We then introduce combinatorial sums related to these special numbers and polynomials. Moreover, we gave some remarks that relates our new findings from this paper to the relations found in earlier studies.

Abstract:Through introducing the generalized Vandermonde determinant, the linear algebraic system of a kind of Vandermonde equations is solved analytically by use of the basic properties of this determinant, and then we present general explicit finite difference formulas with arbitrary order accuracy for approximating first and higher derivatives, which are applicable to unequally or equally spaced data. Comparing with other finite difference formulas, the new explicit difference formulas have some important advantages. Basic computer algorithms for the new formulas are given, and numerical results show that the new explicit difference formulas are quite effective for estimating first and higher derivatives of equally and unequally spaced data.

Abstract:Here we introduce a way to construct generalized trigonometric functions associated with any complex polynomials, and the well known trigonometric functions can be seen to associate with polynomial $x^2-1$. We will show that those generalized trigonometric functions have algebraic identities which generalizes the well known $\sin^2(x)+\cos^2(x)=1$. One application of the generalized trigonometric functions is evaluating infinite series of rational functions.

Abstract:This paper provides formulas for calculating of Fréchet and limiting normal cones with respect to a set of sets and the limiting coderivative with respect to a set of set-valued mappings. These calculations are obtained under some qualification constraints and are expressed in the similar forms of these ones of Fréchet and limiting normal cones and the limiting coderivative. By using these obtained formulas, we state explicit necessary optimality conditions with respect to a set for optimization problems with equilibrium constraints under certain qualification conditions. Some illustrated examples to obtained results are also established.

Abstract:We present a range of difficult integration formulas involving Fibonacci and Lucas numbers and trigonometric functions. These formulas are often expressed in terms of special functions like the dilogarithm and Clausen's function. We also prove complements of integral identities of Dilcher (2000) and Stewart (2022). Many of our results are based on a fundamental lemma dealing with differentiation of complex-valued Fibonacci (Lucas) functions.

Abstract:In many seemingly diverse areas of applications, reduction, summation, and transformation formulas for various families of hypergeometric functions in one, two, and more variables are potentially useful, especially in situations when these hypergeometric functions are involved in solutions of mathematical, physical, and engineering problems that can be modeled by (for example) ordinary and partial differential equations. The main object of this article is to investigate a number of reductions and transformations for the Appell functions F-1,F-2,F-3, and F-4 in two variables and the corresponding (substantially more general) double-series identities. In particular, we observe that a certain reduction formula for the Appell function F-3 derived recently by Prajapati et al., together with other related results, were obtained more than four decades earlier by Srivastava. We give a new simple derivation of the previously mentioned Srivastava's formula . We also present a brief account of several other related results that are closely associated with the Appell and other higher-order hypergeometric functions in two variables. Abstract:In this article, we develop multiplicative fractional versions of Simpson's and Newton's formula-type inequalities for differentiable generalized convex functions with the help of established identities. The main motivation for using generalized convex functions lies in their ability to extend results beyond traditional convex functions, encompassing a broader class of functions, and providing optimal approximations for both lower and upper bounds. These inequalities are very useful in finding the error bounds for the numerical integration formulas in multiplicative calculus. Applying these results to the Quadrature formulas demonstrates their practical utility in numerical integration. Furthermore, numerical analysis provides empirical evidence of the effectiveness of the derived findings. It is also demonstrated that the newly proven inequalities extend certain existing results in the literature.

Abstract:The Pfaff/Cauchy derivative identities are generalizations of Leibniz formula for the nth derivative of a product of two functions. In this paper, we first derive three generalized forms of the q-Leibniz formula. The results are also partial q-analogues of the Pfaff/Cauchy derivative formulae. Then we give some applications and several q-identities are obtained.
