Pharmacokinetic study of Pazufloxacin in the plasma in Chinese healthy volunteers

Abstract:OBJECTIVE To recommend a new method for Pazufloxacin in the human plasma by HPLC.METHODS The instrument was equipped with Hypersil BDS column(250 mm× 4.6 mm,5μm)and ultra wave detector.Ofloxacin was used as the internal standard.The serum protein was precipitated with 50% trifluoroacetic acid and the supernatant was analyzed after centrifugation.RESULTS The calibration curves were linear over a wide range of concentrations(47～24 080 ng· mL~(-1)),and the detection limit of Pazufloxacin was 25 ng· mL~(-1).The precisions(RSD%,n=15) of within day and day to day were less than 6.5% and 15%,respectively.CONCLUSIONS This method is rapid,accurate and sensitive for the determination of Pazufloxacin in the human plasma.
