Abstract:In the structure of the title compound, C14H11N2O+.PF6-, all the bond lengths and angles have normal values. The pyrido[1,2-a]pyrazinium system and the phenyl ring are conjugated. In the crystal structure, the phenyl-pyrido[1,2-a]pyrazinium rings are arranged in parallel layers.

Abstract:The title compound, C(15)H(20)N(2)O(2) (2+)·2PF(6) (-), was prepared by anion exchange of two bromide ions in the ionic liquid 2,2'-bis-(pyridinium-1-ylmeth-yl)-propane-1,3-diol dibromide with potassium hexa-fluoro-phosphate. The two pyridine rings are planar (r.m.s. deviations = 0.008 and 0.00440 Å) and make a dihedral angle of 44.0 (2)°. Intermolecular O-H⋯F and C-H⋯F interactions occur. The four F atoms in each anion were refined as disordered over two sets of sites with an occupancy ration of 0.700 (19):0.300 (19).

Abstract:In the mol-ecule of the title compound, C(16)H(15)FN(2)O(2), the benzene rings are oriented at a dihedral angle of 88.61 (3)°. The five-membered ring adopts an envelope conformation. Intra-molecular C-H⋯N hydrogen bonds result in the formation of two planar five-membered rings. In the crystal structure, inter-molecular N-H⋯O and C-H⋯F hydrogen bonds link the mol-ecules, forming R(2) (2)(8) and R(2) (2)(18) ring motifs. Weak C-H⋯π inter-actions may further stabilize the structure.

Abstract:The title compound, C12H9N2+center dot C7H4ClO3-center dot C12H8N2 center dot-C7H5ClO3, contains one phenanthrolinium (Hphen) cation, one phenanthroline (phen) molecule, one 4-chloro-2-hydroxybenzoate anion (hcba) and one 4-chloro-2-hydroxybenzoic acid (Hhcba) molecule in the asymmetric unit. The phen molecule is approximately parallel to Hphen, making a dihedral angle of 1.98 (6)degrees. The centroid-centroid distance between pyridine rings of adjacent phen and Hphen species is 3.7718 (15) angstrom, and that between the benzene and pyridine rings of adjacent phen and Hphen species is 3.7922 (16) angstrom, indicative of pi-pi stacking interactions. The crystal structure contains an extensive network of classical (O-H center dot center dot center dot O, N-H center dot center dot center dot N and O-H center dot center dot center dot Cl) and weak (C-H center dot center dot center dot O and C-H center dot center dot center dot N) hydrogen bonds. Finally, C-H center dot center dot center dot O interactions are seen between Hphen and hcba and between phen and Hhcba in the crystal structure. The hydroxy group of the anion is disordered over the two sites ortho to the carboxylate group in a 0.75: 0.25 ratio.

Abstract:In the structure of the title salt, C6H9N2+ center dot C7H6NO2-, the 4-aminobenzoate anions are linked to adjacent anions and 2-amino-4-methylpyridinium cations via N - H center dot center dot center dot O hydrogen bonds, forming a three-dimensional supramolecular structure. The crystal structure also shows a weak C - H center dot center dot center dot O hydrogen bond between adjacent anions. Within the 4-aminobenzoate anion, the carboxylate group is twisted by 14.0 (4)degrees with respect to the benzene ring.

Abstract:In the mol-ecule of the title compound, C(19)H(22)N(2)O(2), the pyrazolidinone ring has an envelope conformation, with the C atom attached to the 4-methoxy-phenyl ring displaced by 0.354 (3) Å from the plane of the other ring atoms. Abstract:In the title molecule, C18H11Cl3N2O2, the central benzene ring is oriented at 8.44 (12) and 70.57 (11)degrees with respect to the terminal chlorophenol and dichloropyridine rings, respectively. The molecular structure is stabilized by an intramolecular O-H center dot center dot center dot N hydrogen bond, which generates an S(6) ring motif. In the crystal, pi-pi stacking between parallel pyridine rings is observed [centroid-centroid distance = 3.6561 (14) angstrom].
