Abstract:In order to reduce crude oil shortage, save energy, improve economic returns of power plants,no-oil ignition combustor based on electromagnetic induction theory was invented.Experiment was conducted to research the influencing factors of ignition distance in the combustor established on experimental(3.5 MW) W-shape boiler.By means of axial temperature field measurements and combustion products analysis, experiment was carried out to study the effect of different construction, different kinds of coal, and different pulverized coal mass percent on ignition distance of the combustor under the experimental conditions of the same primary air velocity and invariable wall temperature. The results showed that the ignition distance increases as the interior diameter of the ignition conductor increases, but decreases as the rise of the volatilization of pulverized coal, and that ignition energy decreases as the interior diameter of ignition tube decreases, and that there are a best rotational intensity and a best pulverized coal mass percent which make the ignition distance the shortest.
