Abstract:In 1966, Iseki [2] introduced the notion of BCI-algebras which is a generalization of BCK-algebras. Lei and Xi [3] discussed a new class of BCI-algebra, which is called a p-semisimple BCI-algebra. For p-semisimple BCI-algebras, a subalgebra is an ideal. But a subalgebra of an arbitrary BCI/BCK-algebra is not necessarily an ideal. In this note, a BCI/BCK-algebra that every subalgebra is an ideal is called a normal BCI/BCK-algebra, and we give characterizations of normal BCI/BCK-algebras. Moreover we give a positive answer to the problem which is posed in [4].(omitted)

Abstract:The notions of FSI-ideals and FSC-ideals in BCI-algebras are introduced. The characterization properties of FSI-ideals and FSC-ideals are obtained. We investigate the relations between FSI-ideals (resp. FSC-ideals) and other fuzzy ideals, between FSI-ideals (resp. FSC-ideals) and BCI-algebras, and show that a fuzzy subset of a BCI-algebra is an FSI-ideal if and only if it is both an FSC-ideal and a fuzzy BCI-positive implicative ideal.

Abstract:Let be an inclusion of -algebras. We study the relationship between the regular ideals of B and regular ideals of A . We show that if is a regular -inclusion and there is a faithful invariant conditional expectation from A onto B , then there is an isomorphism between the lattice of regular ideals of A and invariant regular ideals of B . We study properties of inclusions preserved under quotients by regular ideals. This includes showing that if is a Cartan inclusion and J is a regular ideal in A , then is a Cartan subalgebra of A / J . We provide a description of regular ideals in the reduced crossed product of a C -algebra by a discrete group.

Abstract:This paper aims to study bounded algebras in another perspective-dual ideals of bounded $ L $-algebras. As the dual concept of ideals in $ L $-algebras, dual ideals are designed to characterize some significant properties of bounded $ L $-algebras. We begin by providing a definition of dual ideals and discussing the relationships between ideals and dual ideals. Then, we prove that these dual ideals induce congruence relations and quotient $ L $-algebras on bounded $ L $-algebras. Naturally, in order to construct the first isomorphism theorem between bounded $ L $-algebras, the relationship between dual ideals and morphisms between bounded $ L $-algebras is investigated and that the kernels of any morphisms between bounded $ L $-algebras are dual ideals is proven. Fortunately, although the first isomorphism theorem between arbitrary bounded $ L $-algebras fails to be proven when using dual ideals, the theorem was proven when the range of morphism was good. Another main purpose of this study is to use dual ideals to characterize several kinds of bounded $ L $-algebras. Therefore, first, the properties of dual ideals in some special bounded $ L $-algebras are studied; then, some special bounded $ L $-algebras are characterized by dual ideals. For example, a good $ L $-algebra is a $ CL $-algebra if and only if every dual ideal is $ C $ dual ideal is proven.

Abstract:Pseudo-BCI-algebras generalize both BCI-algebras and pseudo-BCK-algebras, which are a non-commutative generalization of BCK-algebras. In this paper, following [J.G. Raftery and C.J. van Alten, Residuation in commutative ordered monoids with minimal zero, Rep. Math. Log. 34 (2000) 23-57], we show that pseudo-BCI-algebras are the residuation subreducts of semi-integral residuated po-monoids and characterize those pseudo-BCI-algebras which are direct products of pseudo-BCK-algebras and groups (regarded as pseudo-BCI-algebras). We also show that the quasivariety of pseudo-BCI-algebras is relatively congruence modular; in fact, we prove that this holds true for all relatively point regular quasivarieties which are relatively ideal determined, in the sense that the kernels of relative congruences can be described by means of ideal terms.
M-ideals in real operator algebras

Abstract:In a recent paper we showed that a subspace of a real JBW*-triple is an M-summand if and only if it is a weak*-closed triple ideal. As a consequence, M-ideals of real JB*-triples, including real C*-algebras, real JB*-algebras and real TROs, correspond to norm-closed triple ideals. In the present paper we extend this result to (possibly non-selfadjoint) real operator algebras and Jordan operator algebras, where the argument is necessarily different. We also give simple characterizations of one-sided M-ideals in real operator algebras, and give some applications to that theory.

Abstract:Since bipolar quantum linear algebra (BQLA), under two operations–-addition and multiplication—demonstrates the properties of semirings, and since ideals play an important role in abstract algebra, our results are compelling for the ideals of a semiring. In this article, we investigate the characteristics of ideals, principal ideals, prime ideals, maximal ideals, and the smallest ideal containing any nonempty subset. By applying elementary real analysis, particularly the infimum, our main result is stated as follows: for any closed set I in BQLA, I is a nontrivial proper ideal if and only if there exists c∈(0,1] such that I=(−x,y)∈R2|cx≤y≤xcandx,y≥0. This shows that its shape has to be symmetric with the graph y=−x.

Abstract:The notion of semi-BCI algebras is introduced and some of its properties are investigated. This algebra is another generalization for BCI-algebras. It arises from the "intervalization" of BCI algebras. Semi-BCI have a similar structure to Pseudo-BCI algebras however they are not the same. In this paper we also provide an investigation on the similarity between these classes of algebras by showing how they relate to the process of intervalization.

Abstract:When events occur in everyday life, it is sometimes advantageous to approach them in two directions to find a solution for them. As a mathematical tool to handle these things, we can consider the intuitionistic fuzzy set. However, when events are complex and the key to a solution cannot be easily found, we feel the need to approach them for hours and from various directions. As mathematicians, we wish we had the mathematical tools that apply to these processes. If these mathematical tools were developed, we would be able to apply them to algebra, topology, graph theory, etc., from a close point of view, and we would be able to apply these research results to decision-making and/or coding theory, etc., from a distant point of view. In light of this view, the purpose of this study is to introduce the notion of a multipolar intuitionistic fuzzy set with finite degree (briefly, k-polar intuitionistic fuzzy set), and to apply it to algebraic structure, in particular, a BCK/BCI-algebra. The notions of a k-polar intuitionistic fuzzy subalgebra and a (closed) k-polar intuitionistic fuzzy ideal in a BCK/BCI-algebra are introduced, and related properties are investigated. Relations between a k-polar intuitionistic fuzzy subalgebra and a k-polar intuitionistic fuzzy ideal are discussed. Characterizations of a k-polar intuitionistic fuzzy subalgebra/ideal are provided, and conditions for a k-polar intuitionistic fuzzy subalgebra to be a k-polar intuitionistic fuzzy ideal are provided. In a BCI-algebra, relations between a k-polar intuitionistic fuzzy ideal and a closed k-polar intuitionistic fuzzy ideal are discussed. A characterization of a closed k-polar intuitionistic fuzzy ideal is considered, and conditions for a k-polar intuitionistic fuzzy ideal to be closed are provided.

Abstract:We introduce and explore the concept of positive ideals for both linear and multilinear operators between Banach lattices. This paper delineates the fundamental principles of these new classes and provides techniques for constructing positive multi-ideals from given positive ideals. Furthermore, we present an example of a positive multi-ideal by introducing a new class, referred to as positive (p1,...,pm;r)-dominated multilinear operators. We establish a natural analogue of the Pietsch domination theorem and Kwapien's factorization theorem within this class.

Abstract:Let $H$ be a pointed Hopf algebra with abelian coradical. Let $A\supseteq B$ be left (or right) coideal subalgebras of $H$ that contain the coradical of $H$. We show that $A$ has a PBW basis over $B$, provided that $H$ satisfies certain mild conditions. In the case that $H$ is a connected graded Hopf algebra of characteristic zero and $A$ and $B$ are both homogeneous of finite Gelfand-Kirillov dimension, we show that $A$ is a graded iterated Ore extension of $B$. These results turn out to be conceptual consequences of a structure theorem for each pair $S\supseteq T$ of homogeneous coideal subalgebras of a connected graded braided bialgebra $R$ with braiding satisfying certain mild conditions. The structure theorem claims the existence of a well-behaved PBW basis of $S$ over $T$. The approach to the structure theorem is constructive by means of a combinatorial method based on Lyndon words and braided commutators, which is originally developed by V. K. Kharchenko for primitively generated braided Hopf algebras of diagonal type. Since in our context we don't priorilly assume $R$ to be primitively generated, new methods and ideas are introduced to handle the corresponding difficulties, among others.

Abstract:We prove that a subspace of a real JBW$^*$-triple is an $M$-summand if and only if it is a weak$^*$-closed triple ideal. As a consequence, $M$-ideals of real JB$^*$-triples correspond to norm-closed triple ideals. As in the setting of complex JB$^*$-triples, a geometric property is characterized in purely algebraic terms. This is a newfangled treatment of the classical notion of $M$-ideal in the real setting by a fully new approach due to the unfeasibility of the known arguments in the setting of complex C$^*$-algebras and JB$^*$-triples. The results in this note also provide a full characterization of all $M$-ideals in real C$^*$-algebras, real JB$^*$-algebras and real TROs.

Abstract:In the framework of operator theory, we investigate a close Lie theoretic relationship between all operator ideals and certain classical groups of invertible operators that can be described as the solution sets of certain algebraic equations, hence can be regarded as infinite-dimensional linear algebraic groups. Historically, this has already been done for only the complete-norm ideals; in that case one can work within the framework of the well-known Lie theory for Banach-Lie groups. That kind of Lie theory is not applicable for arbitrary operator ideals, so we needed to find a new approach for dealing with the general situation. The simplest instance of the aforementioned relationship is provided by the Lie algebra $\ug_{\Ic}(\Hc)=\{X\in\Ic\mid X^*=-X\}$ associated with the group $\U_{\Ic}(\Hc)=\U(\Hc)\cap(\1+\Ic)$ where $\Ic$ is an arbitrary operator ideal in $\Bc(\Hc)$ and $\U(\Hc)$ is the full group of unitary operators. We investigate the Cartan subalgebras (maximal abelian self-adjoint subalgebras) of $\ug_{\Ic}(\Hc)$ for $\{0\}\subsetneqq\Ic\subsetneqq\Bc(\Hc)$, and obtain an uncountably many $\U_{\Ic}(\Hc)$-conjugacy classes of these Cartan subalgebras. The cardinality proof will be given in a follow up paper \cite{BPW13} and stands in contrast to the $\U(\Hc)$-uniqueness work of de la Harpe \cite{dlH72}.

Abstract:This paper presents the novel concept of rough intuitionistic fuzzy ideals within the realm of BCK-algebras and investigates their fundamental properties. Furthermore, we introduce a set-valued homomorphism over a BCK-algebra, laying the foundation for the establishment of T-rough intuitionistic fuzzy ideals. The characterization of these innovative ideals is accomplished by employing the (α,β)-cut of intuitionistic fuzzy sets in the context of BCK-algebras.
