Abstract:We introduce more generalizations of BCI, BCK and of Hilbert algebras, with proper examples, and show the hierarchies existing between all these algebras, old and new ones. Namely, we found thirty one new generalizations of BCI and BCK algebras and twenty generalizations of Hilbert algebras.

Abstract:In 1966, Iseki [2] introduced the notion of BCI-algebras which is a generalization of BCK-algebras. Lei and Xi [3] discussed a new class of BCI-algebra, which is called a p-semisimple BCI-algebra. For p-semisimple BCI-algebras, a subalgebra is an ideal. But a subalgebra of an arbitrary BCI/BCK-algebra is not necessarily an ideal. In this note, a BCI/BCK-algebra that every subalgebra is an ideal is called a normal BCI/BCK-algebra, and we give characterizations of normal BCI/BCK-algebras. Moreover we give a positive answer to the problem which is posed in [4].(omitted)

Abstract:Pseudo-BCI-algebras generalize both BCI-algebras and pseudo-BCK-algebras, which are a non-commutative generalization of BCK-algebras. In this paper, following [J.G. Raftery and C.J. van Alten, Residuation in commutative ordered monoids with minimal zero, Rep. Math. Log. 34 (2000) 23-57], we show that pseudo-BCI-algebras are the residuation subreducts of semi-integral residuated po-monoids and characterize those pseudo-BCI-algebras which are direct products of pseudo-BCK-algebras and groups (regarded as pseudo-BCI-algebras). We also show that the quasivariety of pseudo-BCI-algebras is relatively congruence modular; in fact, we prove that this holds true for all relatively point regular quasivarieties which are relatively ideal determined, in the sense that the kernels of relative congruences can be described by means of ideal terms.

Abstract:The notion of semi-BCI algebras is introduced and some of its properties are investigated. This algebra is another generalization for BCI-algebras. It arises from the "intervalization" of BCI algebras. Semi-BCI have a similar structure to Pseudo-BCI algebras however they are not the same. In this paper we also provide an investigation on the similarity between these classes of algebras by showing how they relate to the process of intervalization.

Abstract:-algebra is a natural generalization of Heyting algebra, unifying many algebraic structures including bounded lattices, Heyting algebras, temporal Heyting algebras and the algebraic presentation of the dynamic topological systems. In a series of two papers, we will systematically study the algebro-topological properties of different varieties of -algebras. In the present paper, we start with investigating the structure of these varieties by characterizing their subdirectly irreducible and simple elements. Then, we prove the closure of these varieties under the Dedekind-MacNeille completion and provide the canonical construction and the Kripke representation for -algebras by which we establish the amalgamation property for some varieties of -algebras. In the sequel of the present paper, we will complete the study by covering the logics of these varieties and their corresponding Priestley-Esakia and spectral duality theories.

Abstract:In this article, we introduce a class of generalized matrix algebras, in which each algebra is called a normally upper triangular gm algebra, and characterise Gorenstein projective modules over this class of algebras. Moreover, a sufficient condition of strongly Gorenstein projective modules over normally upper triangular gm algebras is given. The importance of normally upper triangular gm algebras for us is that it includes the so-called path algebras of quivers over algebras and generalized path algebras. Due to this, we characterize Gorenstein projective modules and strongly Gorenstein projective modules over path algebras of quivers over algebras and generalized path algebras as applications of the main results on normally upper triangular gm algebras. At last, we give an example to show how all indecomposable Gorenstein projective modules over a given algebra are constructed by the result on generalized path algebras.
On noncommutative generalisations of Boolean algebras

Abstract:Skew Boolean algebras (skew BA) and Boolean-like algebras (nBA) are one-pointed and n-pointed noncommutative generalisation of Boolean algebras, respectively. We show that any nBA is a cluster of n isomorphic right-handed skew BAs, axiomatised here as the variety of skew star algebras. The variety of skew star algebras is shown to be term equivalent to the variety of nBAs. We use skew BAs in order to develop a general theory of multideals for nBAs. We also provide a representation theorem for right-handed skew BAs in terms of nBAs of n-partitions.

Abstract:We consider two different constructions of higher brackets. First, based on a Grassmann-odd, nilpotent \Delta operator, we define a non-commutative generalization of the higher Koszul brackets, which are used in a generalized Batalin-Vilkovisky algebra, and we show that they form a homotopy Lie algebra. Secondly, we investigate higher, so-called derived brackets built from symmetrized, nested Lie brackets with a fixed nilpotent Lie algebra element Q. We find the most general Jacobi-like identity that such a hierarchy satisfies. The numerical coefficients in front of each term in these generalized Jacobi identities are related to the Bernoulli numbers. We suggest that the definition of a homotopy Lie algebra should be enlarged to accommodate this important case. Finally, we consider the Courant bracket as an example of a derived bracket. We extend it to the "big bracket" of exterior forms and multi-vectors, and give closed formulas for the higher Courant brackets.

On a Generalization of Heyting Algebras II

Abstract:A $\nabla$-algebra is a natural generalization of a Heyting algebra, unifying several algebraic structures, including bounded lattices, Heyting algebras, temporal Heyting algebras, and the algebraic representation of dynamic topological systems. In the prequel to this paper [3], we explored the algebraic properties of various varieties of $\nabla$-algebras, their subdirectly-irreducible and simple elements, their closure under Dedekind-MacNeille completion, and their Kripke-style representation. In this sequel, we first introduce $\nabla$-spaces as a common generalization of Priestley and Esakia spaces, through which we develop a duality theory for certain categories of $\nabla$-algebras. Then, we reframe these dualities in terms of spectral spaces and provide an algebraic characterization of natural families of dynamic topological systems over Priestley, Esakia, and spectral spaces. Additionally, we present a ring-theoretic representation for some families of $\nabla$-algebras. Finally, we introduce several logical systems to capture different varieties of $\nabla$-algebras, offering their algebraic, Kripke, topological, and ring-theoretic semantics, and establish a deductive interpolation theorem for some of these systems.

Abstract:When events occur in everyday life, it is sometimes advantageous to approach them in two directions to find a solution for them. As a mathematical tool to handle these things, we can consider the intuitionistic fuzzy set. However, when events are complex and the key to a solution cannot be easily found, we feel the need to approach them for hours and from various directions. As mathematicians, we wish we had the mathematical tools that apply to these processes. If these mathematical tools were developed, we would be able to apply them to algebra, topology, graph theory, etc., from a close point of view, and we would be able to apply these research results to decision-making and/or coding theory, etc., from a distant point of view. In light of this view, the purpose of this study is to introduce the notion of a multipolar intuitionistic fuzzy set with finite degree (briefly, k-polar intuitionistic fuzzy set), and to apply it to algebraic structure, in particular, a BCK/BCI-algebra. The notions of a k-polar intuitionistic fuzzy subalgebra and a (closed) k-polar intuitionistic fuzzy ideal in a BCK/BCI-algebra are introduced, and related properties are investigated. Relations between a k-polar intuitionistic fuzzy subalgebra and a k-polar intuitionistic fuzzy ideal are discussed. Characterizations of a k-polar intuitionistic fuzzy subalgebra/ideal are provided, and conditions for a k-polar intuitionistic fuzzy subalgebra to be a k-polar intuitionistic fuzzy ideal are provided. In a BCI-algebra, relations between a k-polar intuitionistic fuzzy ideal and a closed k-polar intuitionistic fuzzy ideal are discussed. A characterization of a closed k-polar intuitionistic fuzzy ideal is considered, and conditions for a k-polar intuitionistic fuzzy ideal to be closed are provided.

Abstract:Let A and B be graded algebras in the same variety of trace algebras, such that A is a finite-dimensional, central simple power associative algebra (in the ordinary sense). Over a field K of characteristic zero, we study sufficient conditions that ensure B to be a graded subalgebra of A . More precisely, we prove, under additional hypotheses, that there is a graded and trace-preserving embedding from B to A over some associative and commutative K -algebra C if and only if B satisfies all G -trace identities of A over K. As a consequence of these results, we give a geometric interpretation of our main theorem under the context of graded algebras, and we apply them beyond the Cayley–Hamilton algebras presented in [24, 29]. Such results open a wide range of opportunities to study geometry in Jordan and alternative algebras (with trivial grading).

Projective freeness and Hermiteness of complex function algebras

Abstract:The paper studies projective freeness and Hermiteness of algebras of complex-valued continuous functions on topological spaces, Stein algebras, and commutative unital Banach algebras. New sufficient cohomology conditions on the maximal ideal spaces of the algebras are given that guarantee the fulfilment of these properties. The results are illustrated by nontrivial examples. Based on the Borsuk theory of shapes, a new class $\mathscr{C}$ of commutative unital complex Banach algebras is introduced (an analog of the class of local rings in commutative algebra) such that the projective tensor product with algebras in $\mathscr C$ preserves projective freeness and Hermiteness. Some examples of algebras of class $\mathscr{C}$ and of other projective free and Hermite function algebras are assembled. These include, e.g., Douglas algebras, finitely generated algebras of symmetric functions, Bohr-Wiener algebras, algebras of holomorphic semi-almost periodic functions, and algebras of bounded holomorphic functions on Riemann surfaces.

Abstract:Fenyves BCI-algebras are BCI-algebras that satisfy the Bol-Moufang identities. In this paper, the holomorphy of BCI-algebras are studied. It is shown that whenever a loop and its holomorph are BCI-algebras, the former is p-semisimple if and only if the latter is p-semisimple. Whenever a loop and its holomorph are BCI-algebras, it is established that the former is a BCK-algebra if and only if the latter has a BCK-subalgebra. Moreover, the holomorphy of the associative and some non-associative Fenyves BCI-algebras are also studied.

Abstract:Let $G$ be a group. The BCI problem asks whether two Haar graphs of $G$ are isomorphic if and only if they are isomorphic by an element of an explicit list of isomorphisms. We first generalize this problem in a natural way and give a theoretical way to solve the isomorphism problem for the natural generalization. We then restrict our attention to abelian groups and, with an exception, reduce the problem to the isomorphism problem for a related quotient, component, or corresponding Cayley digraph. For Haar graphs of an abelian group of odd order with connection sets $S$ those of Cayley graphs (i.e. $S = -S$), the exception does not exist. For Haar graphs of cyclic groups of odd order with connection sets those of a Cayley graph, among others, we solve the isomorphism problem.

Abstract:We consider projectivity and injectivity of Hilbert C*-modules in the categories of Hilbert C*-(bi-)modules over a fixed C*-algebra of coefficients (and another fixed C*-algebra represented as bounded module operators) and bounded (bi-)module morphisms, either necessarily adjointable or arbitrary ones. As a consequence of these investigations, we obtain a set of equivalent conditions characterizing C*-subalgebras of C*-algebras of compact operators on Hilbert spaces in terms of general properties of Hilbert C*-modules over them. Our results complement results recently obtained by B. Magajna, J. Schweizer and M. Kusuda. In particular, all Hilbert C*-(bi-)modules over C*-algebras of compact operators on Hilbert spaces are both injective and projective in the categories we consider. For more general C*-algebras we obtain classes of injective and projective Hilbert C*-(bi-)modules.
Quasi-biserial algebras, special quasi-biserial algebras and symmetric fractional Brauer graph algebras

Abstract:In this paper, we define and study quasi-biserial algebras, special quasi-biserial algebras and relate them to a class of algebras introduced recently by Li and Liu, the so called symmetric fractional Brauer graph algebras. These algebras naturally generalize biserial and special biserial algebras to algebras of wild representation type, in a different direction of multiserial and special multiserial algebras. We show that all special quasi-biserial algebras are quasi-biserial, all special quasi-biserial algebras are quotients of symmetric special quasi-biserial algebras and all symmetric special quasi-biserial algebras are symmetric fractional Brauer graph algebras. Moreover, we show that the symmetric fractional Brauer graph algebras of finite representation type are symmetric fractional Brauer tree algebras and the symmetric fractional Brauer graph algebras are derived equivalent under Kauer moves.

Abstract:The notions of FSI-ideals and FSC-ideals in BCI-algebras are introduced. The characterization properties of FSI-ideals and FSC-ideals are obtained. We investigate the relations between FSI-ideals (resp. FSC-ideals) and other fuzzy ideals, between FSI-ideals (resp. FSC-ideals) and BCI-algebras, and show that a fuzzy subset of a BCI-algebra is an FSI-ideal if and only if it is both an FSC-ideal and a fuzzy BCI-positive implicative ideal.

Abstract:We generalize to arbitrary categories of algebras the notion of an NS-algebra. We do this by using a bimodule property, as we did for defining the general notions of a dendriform and tridendriform algebra. We show that several types of operators lead to NS-algebras: Nijenhuis operators, twisted Rota-Baxter operators and relative Rota-Baxter operators of arbitrary weight.
