Abstract:The laser melted treatment of Al-Si alloys can make primarily Al refine ten times more than base metal and it can efficiently modify eutectic silicon from plate-like form into fine grass-like rod forms. The treatment efficiently transforms dislocation morphology in increasing dislocation density, this gradually transforms the linear and circular dislocation with lower density into densely twisting dislocation clusters and small dislocation cells.
