Study on Establishing Professional Knowledge System for Clinical Pharmacist and Optimizing the Curriculum of the Master of Pharmacy Program

Abstract:The initiation of Master of Pharmacy program has provided an opportunity for the development of the current clinical pharmacy graduate education in China,while the systematization and standardization of the current curriculum system is of the first importance.This article focused on the curriculum of the clinical pharmacy graduate education of our school.First,a system of the professional knowledge which is essential for graduate education was established,which clarified the target of the curriculum design.Under the guidance of this system,the current curriculum design was analyzed and evaluated through a contrast with 3 American pharmacy program and a questionnaire to the graduates of our school in multi-years.At last the advantage and weakness of the curriculum were pointed out,and several valuable advices on developing the master of pharmacy program were provided.
