Abstract:The aim of this paper is to compare Kapranov's lattice algebra with Toen's derived Hall algebra. We prove that the derived Hall algebra can be identified with the lattice algebra by the "twist and extend" procedure with a suitable subalgebra closely related to the Heisenberg double.

Abstract:Let A be a finitary hereditary abelian category. We give a Hall algebra presentation of Kashaev’s theorem on the relation between Drinfeld double and Heisenberg double. As applications, we obtain realizations of the Drinfeld double Hall algebra of A via its derived Hall algebra and Bridgeland’s Hall algebra of m -cyclic complexes.

Abstract:A difficult question arising in the study of effect algebras is how to equip them with a fitting and proper topology such that the topology is compatible with the partial operations ⊕ and Θ. As we know, the Frink ideal topology is an important intrinsic topology for studying partially ordered set theory; in particular, it is the correct topology for chains and direct products of a finite number of chains. In this paper, we show that the Frink ideal topology is also a nice topology for studying effect-algebra theory since it provides the operations with some of the expected continuity properties.

Abstract:In this paper, we introduce a motivic version of Toen's derived Hall algebra. Then we point out that the two kinds of Hall algebras in the sense of Toen and Kontsevich-Soibelman, respectively, are Drinfeld dual pairs, not only in the classical case (by counting over finite fields) but also in the motivic version. Consequently they are canonically isomorphic. All proofs, including that for the most important associative property, are deduced in a self-contained way by analyzing the symmetry properties around the octahedral axiom, a method we used previously.

Abstract:In [L. Peng, J. Xiao, Triangulated categories and Kac–Moody algebras, Invent. Math. 140 (3) (2000) 563–603], the authors proved a theorem for constructing Hall type Lie algebras associated to 2-periodic triangulated categories. In particular, this theorem gives a global realization of symmetrizable Kac–Moody algebras. The purpose of this paper is to provide a refinement (meanwhile, a new proof) of the theorem by applying the approach of derived Hall algebras arising in homologically finite triangulated categories appeared in [B. Toën, Derived Hall algebras, Duke Math. J. 135 (3) (2006) 587–615] and [J. Xiao, F. Xu, Hall algebras associated to triangulated categories, Duke Math. J. 143 (2) (2008) 357–373].
Derived Hall algebras of root categories

Abstract:For a finitary hereditary abelian category $\mathcal{A}$, we define a derived Hall algebra of its root category by counting the triangles and using the octahedral axiom, which is proved to be isomorphic to the Drinfeld double of Hall algebra of $\mathcal{A}$. When applied to finite-dimensional nilpotent representations of the Jordan quiver or coherent sheaves over elliptic curves, these algebras provide categorical realizations of the ring of Laurent symmetric functions and also double affine Hecke algebras.

Abstract:In this paper we define the modified Ringel-Hall algebra $\cm\ch(\ca)$ of a hereditary abelian category $\ca$ from the category $C^b(\mathcal{A})$ of bounded $\mathbb{Z}$-graded complexes. Two main results have been obtained. One is to give a new proof of Green's formula on Ringel-Hall numbers by using the associative multiplication of the modified Ringel-Hall algebra. The other is to show that in certain twisted cases the derived Hall algebra can be embedded in the modified Ringel-Hall algebra. As a consequence of the second result, we get that in certain twisted cases the modified Ringel-Hall algebra is isomorphic to the tensor algebra of the derived Hall algebra and the torus of acyclic complexes and so the modified Ringel-Hall algebra is invariant under derived equivalences.

Abstract:Given an odd-periodic algebraic triangulated category, we compare Bridgeland’s Hall algebra in the sense of Bridgeland (2013) and Gorsky (2014), and the derived Hall algebra in the sense of Töen (2006), Xiao and Xu (2008) and Xu and Chen (2013), and show that the former one is the twisted form of the tensor product of the latter one and a suitable group algebra.

Abstract:We investigate the structure of the double Ringel-Hall algebras associated with cyclic quivers and its connections with quantum loop algebras of $\mathfrak{gl}_n$, affine quantum Schur algebras and affine Hecke algebras. This includes their Drinfeld-Jimbo type presentation, affine quantum Schur-Weyl reciprocity, representations of affine quantum Schur algebras, and connections with various existing works by Lusztig, Varagnolo-Vasserot, Schiffmann, Hubery, Chari-Pressley, Frenkel-Mukhin, etc. We will also discuss conjectures on a realization of Beilinson-Lusztig-MacPherson type and Lusztig type integral forms for double Ringel-Hall algebras.

Abstract:The major purpose of this paper is to construct a weak Hopf algebra with grading from a family of Hopf algebras, and then to gain a related quantum G-double with regular R-matrix. First, over a field k, we introduce a so-called semilattice graded weak Hopf algebra H=⊕α∈YHα. Then the quantum G-double D′(H) of H is obtained in case that H is commutative. Moreover, it is shown that D′(H) is semisimple (respectively, von Neumann regular) if and only if H is a semisimple (respectively, von Neumann regular) Hopf algebra. At last, a nontrivial example of semilattice graded weak Hopf algebras is obtained.

Abstract:Let t be a positive integer and be a hereditary abelian category satisfying some finiteness conditions. We define the semi-derived Ringel-Hall algebra of from the category of -graded complexes and obtain a natural basis of the semi-derived Ringel-Hall algebra. Moreover, we describe the semi-derived Ringel-Hall algebra by the generators and defining relations. In particular, if t is an odd integer, we show that there is an embedding of the derived Hall algebra of the odd-periodic relative derived category in the extended semi-derived Ringel-Hall algebra.

Abstract:Let $m$ be an odd positive integer and $D_m(\mathcal {A})$ be the $m$-periodic derived category of a finitary hereditary abelian category $\mathcal {A}$. In this note, we prove that there is an embedding of algebras from the derived Hall algebra of $D_m(\mathcal {A})$ defined by Xu-Chen [13] to the extended derived Hall algebra of $D_m(\mathcal {A})$ defined in [16]. This homomorphism is given on basis elements, rather than just on generating elements.

Abstract:In this paper, assume that $ H $ is a Hopf algebra and $ A/B $ is an $ H $-Galois extension. Firstly, by introducing the concept of an $ H $-stable tilting complex $ T_{\bullet} $ over $ B $, we show that $ T_{\bullet}\otimes_BA $ is a tilting complex over $ A $ and a derived equivalence between two $ H $-module algebras can be extended to smash product algebras under some conditions. Then we observe that $ 0\rightarrow {\rm End}_{\mathcal{D}^b(B)}(T_{\bullet})\rightarrow {\rm End}_{\mathcal{D}^b(A)}(T_{\bullet}\otimes_BA) $ is an $ H $-Galois Frobenius extension if $ A/B $ is an $ H $-Galois Frobenius extension. Finally, for any perfect recollement of derived categories of $ H $-module algebras, we apply the above results to construct a perfect recollement of derived categories of their smash product algebras and generalize it to $ n $-recollements.

Abstract:This paper studies the differential lattice, defined to be a lattice L equipped with a map d:L→L\documentclass[12pt]{minimal}\usepackage{amsmath}\usepackage{wasysym}\usepackage{amsfonts}\usepackage{amssymb}\usepackage{amsbsy}\usepackage{mathrsfs}\usepackage{upgreek}\setlength{\oddsidemargin}{-69pt}\begin{document}$$d:L\rightarrow L$$\end{document} that satisfies a lattice analog of the Leibniz rule for a derivation. Isomorphic differential lattices are studied and classifications of differential lattices are obtained for some basic lattices. Several families of derivations on a lattice are explicitly constructed, giving realizations of the lattice as lattices of derivations. Derivations on a finite distributive lattice are shown to have a natural structure of lattice. Moreover, derivations on a complete infinitely distributive lattice form a complete lattice. For a general lattice, it is conjectured that its poset of derivations is a lattice that uniquely determines the given lattice.

We define a Hall algebra for the root category of $\mathcal {A}$ by applying the derived Hall numbers of the bounded derived category $D^b(\mathcal {A})$, which is proved to be isomorphic to the Drinfeld double Hall algebra of $\mathcal {A}$. In the appendix, we also define the 1-periodic derived Hall algebra via the derived Hall numbers of $D^b(\mathcal {A})$.

Abstract:The aim of this note is to clarify the relationship between Green's formula and the associativity of multiplication for derived Hall algebra in the sense of Toën (Duke Math J 135(3):587-615, 2006), Xiao and Xu (Duke Math J 143(2):357-373, 2008) and Xu and Chen (Algebr Represent Theory 16(3):673-687, 2013). Let $\mathcal{A}$ be a finitary hereditary abelian category. It is known that the associativity of derived Hall algebra $\mathcal{D}\mathcal{H}_t(\mathcal{A})$ implies Green's formula. We show the converse statement holds. Namely, Green's formula implies the associativity of the derived Hall algebra $\mathcal{D}\mathcal{H}_t(\mathcal{A})$.

Abstract:Motivated by Kapranov's discovery of an sh Lie algebra structure on the tangent complex of a Kähler manifold and Chen-Stiénon-Xu's construction of sh Leibniz algebras associated with a Lie pair, we find a general method to construct sh Leibniz algebras. Let $\mathcal{A}$ be a commutative dg algebra. Given a derivation of $\mathcal{A}$ valued in a dg module $\Omega$, we show that there exist sh Leibniz algebra structures on the dual module of $\Omega$. Moreover, we prove that this process establishes a functor from the category of dg module valued derivations to the category of sh Leibniz algebras over $\mathcal{A}$.
