Abstract:This paper elaborates the development of spatial structure in our country.Because the forms and types are colorful and incessantly innovating,it is necessary to divide spatial structure by component elements.After the 21th century,the development of our nation’s spatial structure comes into a new period that the application range and fields for spatial structure extend continuously.Besides the large-span public buildings such as gymnasiums and airports,there are extensive and innovative applications including large-scale railway stations,stations awning without column,bridges and high-rise buildings for spatial structure.About the international cooperation,it is suggested to have an open mind and optimistic view towards the fact that that architecture scheme for our nation’s spatial structures are frequently led by foreign companies.China is already a country with a great deal of the top of the world spatial structures,thus it is our responsibility to strive to create even better and advanced spatial structures.Some issues which we should pay more attention are pointed out.

Abstract:With the continuous development of the Chinese economy and the rapid development of large public buildings, the application of steel structures in large buildings is gradually increasing. The use of steel structures is crucial for meeting the needs of large-span, super high-rise buildings, rapid construction, and achieving sustainable development of buildings. Therefore, studying and analyzing the construction technology of large-scale building steel structures has important practical significance. This study is based on a library construction project, focusing on the installation of embedded bolts, steel columns, steel beams, and high-strength bolts in the construction of large building steel structures, as well as the technical schemes and construction processes of welding, anti-corrosion coatings, and fireproof coatings. I hope to provide reference and suggestions for actual construction.

Abstract:During the more than 100 years of modern urban landscape design and construction, in addition to the continuous deductive changes of design thinking, concepts, methods and means, the construction concept and design thinking have also changed for a long time. In different periods, the degree of involvement and the role and the function of the public art involved in the landscape are different, and the applied technology is always changing. This paper emphatically analyzes the role of public art design of digital technology and multisensor fusion technology in the construction of urban landscape in China in recent years, and reveals that after the digital technology and multisensor fusion technology art design are involved in the construction of urban space landscape, they have shifted from the important power of shaping urban space aesthetics to the development of ecological aesthetics. At the same time, in this process, public art and urban design have developed to a new stage, that is, from the physical space to the construction of the spiritual field, which has become the most vivid visual text of today's urban landscape, so as to further understand the significance and value of art in urban space.

Abstract:Due to the important role of shaping city images and characteristics,increasing urban soft strength and popularity in the urban space development,large-scale public constructions are increasingly becoming the hot spots in China's urban construction.However,because of their unreasonable setting in the process of building and using,the function and role of the large-scale public constructions can not be brought into full play.Based on the concept defining of large-scale urban public constructions,from the angle of their influencing spatial factors,taking the setting of Aoti Centre in Nanjing for an example,the paper tries to do an in-depth study on the interaction between the setting of large-scale public constructions and urban space development,which can provide some theoretical evidence for the setting of large-scale public constructions.

Abstract:With the increasing application of concrete in building construction, architects' focus has shifted from the structural materials of concrete to its own texture. The article analyzed the relationship and development trends between architectural design and urban design, and conducted academic research and analysis based on the research of large-scale architectural design and transparent concrete materials in large-scale architectural design. Guided by the course "Material and Craft", this article analyzed various building materials used in building construction today. From the discussion on the use of transparent concrete materials in large-scale architectural design, it can be seen that in architectural design, engineering designers must have a precise grasp of the basic properties of transparent concrete materials, and combine them with the needs of architectural design to make reasonable choices of transparent concrete materials and apply them scientifically in architectural design.

Abstract:The intent of this research article is the analysis of application of digital image technology and visual sensing technology in public art design. The specific forms of public art design are studied. A series of studies on the public art form of live performance is carried out combined with the principles of advanced computer technology such as digital imaging, artificial intelligence, and visual sensing technology. An analysis method based on attention-satisfaction for the Return to the Three Gorges is put forward and some research results are obtained. The results show that the combination of live tourism performance and digital image technology creates endless possibilities for live tourism performance through technical means and artistic charm, but there are also some disadvantages. The survey results about the Return to the Three Gorges show that the proportion of tourists who choose “greatly different from expectations” and “fail to meet expectations” has reached 41.9%. And 45.3% of tourists choose the “very unwilling” and “unwilling” options in terms of willingness to revisit. It reveals that although the integration of science and technology and art has great charm, there is still much room for improvement, especially the homogenization of content and form, which needs further research.

Abstract:Architecture plays a pivotal role in shaping the built environment and influencing societal development. Aesthetic principles of architecture, technological integration, and skill development are key factors that impact architectural design outcomes and broader societal implications. The purpose of this research is to look into the impact of architectural aesthetic principles on socioeconomic development, public well-being, and architectural modernism, while also looking into the mediating role of technological integration and the moderating role of skill development. A quantitative research approach was adopted, using a cross-sectional design. Data was collected through a structured questionnaire from 375 architects in Guangzhou, representing diverse architectural practices. SPSS was used for descriptive and inferential statistical analyses such as correlation, regression, and mediation analysis. The study revealed a positive relationship between aesthetic principles of architecture and socio-economic development, indicating that aesthetically pleasing designs can foster economic growth and urban development. Moreover, aesthetics significantly influenced public well-being, with thoughtfully designed spaces positively impacting the emotional and psychological well-being of users. Aesthetic principles were found to contribute to architecture modernity, inspiring innovative design practices. Technological integration emerged as a mediator, highlighting its role in translating aesthetic concepts into sustainable design solutions that impact socio-economic development, public well-being, and architecture modernity. Skill development was identified as a moderator, enhancing the integration of aesthetics and technology in architectural design. This study advances the understanding of the interplay between aesthetics, technology, and skill development in architectural practice. The findings offer practical implications for architects, policymakers, and educators, guiding the creation of aesthetically-driven, sustainable, and socially impactful designs. The study contributes to architectural theory and practice, fostering a holistic approach toward the creation of built environments that enhance the quality of life for individuals and promote sustainable development. The use of self-reported data and cross-sectional methods are the potential limitations of the study.

Abstract:Based on big data, a new public space evaluation method is proposed. Using programming technology to collect visitor reviews from the travel website TripAdvisor to build a database, based on the data of 99,240 words in 1573 visitor reviews in 10 years, the connection between data and reality is established through systematic data classification and visualization. Following an assessment of the Kimbell Art Museum's functionality, architectural design, and landscape design, along with visitor feedback, a new evaluation methodology was formulated for application to public buildings with landscapes. By utilizing the unique advantages of big data, it provides convenient and efficient analysis methods for public spaces with similar data foundations and opens the way for the optimization of the built environment in the information age.

Abstract:Large-space structures,which could provide spacious room and gorgeous configurations,have prodigious superiority over other structural styles.This kind of structure will definitely have a flourishing development and tremendous potentiality in future by the propulsion of large campaigns such as 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.However,traditional fire-resisting method in codes and regulations in China nowadays can not be applied to large-space structures as the structural systems thereof are mostly sophisticated or sometimes there are special aesthetic demands on architectural employment.From studies and development trends in this area over the world,performance-based design method will be the prior choice.In this paper,analysis and discussions will be focused on the steps and methods for this kind of structure in terms of its features,research findings and practical experiences in China and overseas.Some suggestions are proposed finally.
Evaluation of Architectural Perception in Urban Industrial Heritage Buildings Based on Eye Tracking Technology

Abstract:In the context of China's urban renewal era, the transformation of urban industrial heritage buildings is increasingly welcomed by architects and citizens. It is crucial to scientifically and effectively identify and evaluate the visual perception brought to viewers by the renovated industrial buildings. This study combines eye-tracking technology from human factors analysis with subjective questionnaire results to assess the visual perception of architectural spaces in a typical industrial heritage renovation project in Beijing—Langyuan Station. The results show that focusing solely on prominence (e.g., using bright colours) in renovation may not necessarily increase observers' likability or desire to explore. We recommend that in the process of renovating urban historical industrial buildings, full consideration should be given to the authenticity of the building itself, the continuity of its style, and the consistency of its style. Design innovation based on these considerations (e.g., using materials or structures with similar styles) tends to be more attractive. The findings of this study provide valuable information and practical guidance for architects and designers.
