Abstract:A video telephon module is added on TV platform Trident WX68.And thus, a TV with IP video phone function is designed.The main chip used in video telephony module is TMS320DM6446 of TI company.Finally, the experimental results prove the feasibility of this design.

Abstract:Beginning from the ITU H.323 multimedia communication protocol and the hardware and software architecture of a MCU system, a IP video phone conference system based on the H. 323 protocol was introduced, which is a embedded system de-signed for special requirement. To enhance the utilization performance of network resource, the grouping exchange technology was applied in the network layer in this system. It was specially put forward a double process boards hardware structure-the sup-port hardware for audio/video encode and decode, data encapsulate etc was integrated in the mother board and the communication function with the network in the subsidiary board. The two boards communicate with data stream mechanism and the software system was also drived by data stream. High reliability , low cost and good transplantation to the realization of IP video phone conference system were provided, which was meaningful used to reference by similar small video conference system research and development.

Abstract:A DSP-based solution to LAN/Intranet-oriented IP telephone is presented. This IP Telephone can be used either as a desktop PC peripheral or as an Intranet network terminal. Its cores are TMS320C5402 in charge of voice code and MPC860T in charge of communications protocol processing and control logic. Several kinds of interface including USB, RS232 and RJ45 are designed to allow IP telephone to connect with other equipment in flexible ways. Some details of hardware architecture are discussed in this paper.

Abstract:Specific to audio and video data multiplexing in Broadcast and TV system, a scheme of intellectual property module based on FPGA was advanced in this paper. After introduction to the related standards, the architecture of audio and video data multiplexing IP module and design processing were introduced. Through the experimental results, it is shown that the IP module could effectively multiplex audio data to video stream and achieve audio and video synchronization. Finally, the IP module output multiplexed stream through SDI.

Abstract:The Session Initiation Protocol(SIP) was used in signal control of video surveillance system.The system's two modules: video server and video client were proposed.With ARM+DSP dual core structure,the video server can implement sampling,coding,compressing and network transferring task.Based on the windows,the client part can implement video data receiving,managing,storing and user interface.The implementation of SIP in signal control in system was described in detail.

Abstract:With the packet exchange principle,IPPBX can realize the functions of the traditional PBX on Ethernet and overcome the insufficiency of traditional PBX effectively. It has powerful functions,comprehensive services with less cost. The typical networking mode of IPPBX is introduced in this paper. The design principles of each module system MPC8250 hardware system based on IPPBX and the software system of the system are given. The protocol conversion software of main con?trol module is also analyzed. The test result shows that the system can achieve simultaneous processing of 200 calls and its voice quality is excellent.

Abstract:Digital video post-processing IC and its application scheme are based on the diversity requirements of digital TV operation. The IC possess great market potential, yet the domestic market has been monopolized by foreign companies. This paper introduces the function frame and performance of GX2001---Hangzhou Guoxin Science and Technology Co., LTD's digital video post-processing IC, and accounts for GX2001 's system application scheme. GX2001 releases the problem that we have no internal patented IC in the digital TV industry. Comparing with other Post-Processing ICs o-versea, GX2001 suit the need of TV industry and the domestic market, is more convenient to use in the TV system, and has higher performance while lower cost.

Abstract:Trellis Code Modulation (TCM) has been widely used because it can obtain 2.55∼7.37 dB coding gain without bandwidth expansion or reduction of the effective information rates. Since Viterbi decoder plays an important role in the realization of HDTV system, we conduct the research and development on integration of Viterbi decoder. This paper proposes a new VLSI design of Viterbi decoder using ASIPs based on hardware/software co-design idea. It reduces the total design time and enhances the reliability of VLSI. We have successfully used this method for the design of Viterbi decoder in the ASTC-HDTV receiver chip.

Abstract:With the development of the Internet technologies and computer communication technologies, the traditionary circuit-switch based network must evolves to the new generation network which is based on the packet-switch technology. Facing the progress and status of the convergence of the three-networks, This document presents a distributed and SIP protocal based VoIP system prototype. Due to combinating of merits of SIP and IP, this model not only provides the interoperation with the existed network, but also provides an extendable plat for the NGN. Abstract:This paper introduces a Video on Demand system based on both CATV broadcasting channels and IP interactive network. CATV broadcasting channels are used for content transmission and IP network is used for control information transmission between Set Top Box and Headend Server. The control mechanism of whole system is designed and implemented according to DSM-CC protocol stacks. The paper narrates the end-to-end system diagram and VoD application software of Set Top Box. The system can be used in CATV network and provide VoD services for CATV subscribers.

Abstract:Taking the high performance DSP as design core,and H.264 as coding standard,the video signal is transmitted over dual-channel of Enhanced Data rate for GSM Evolution(EDGE) to the video services.The transmission control policy based on dual-channel buffers,as well as hardware and software designs are described in details.The experimental results show that the system can transmit real-time video with CIF format.

Abstract:A wireless video transmission system is designed and implemented based on TI DaVinci chip OMAP3530.This chip uses a ARM+DSP dual-core design,and also uses the module MC8630A of the third-generation network CDMA20001x.The testing results show that the system can effectively solve the shortage of bandwidth in the second-generation wireless networks in the video transmission.

Abstract:An embedded video conference MCU based on TMS320DM8168 was designed and realized .G.722 algorithm was cho-sen for the speech compression ,H.264 algorithm was chosen for the video compression ,and RTP was used to transport media streams .The hardware solution and the software implementation were elaborated .The QoS for the video conference was also analyzed .Characterized by the small size and the low power ,the proposed system can provide service for 8 users at the same time .Test results show that the system has the advantage of high reliability ,smooth audio and video streams ,and its processing delay is less than 100 ms ,which can meet the performance requirements in the video conference .

Abstract:This paper developed a network video server based on Freescale video processing chip IMX27 running on the Linux operating environment,and short connection was used to complete the interaction between the server and clients,which effectively saved system resources and reduced the CPU utilization of the sever.Moreover,in order to obtain high quality video images,the server adopted an adaptive de-interlacing algorithm based on the use of splicing and interpolation of static and moving picture respectively to realize de-interlacing of the video image,therefore the integrity of the video data was guaranteed and the video clarity was improved.In the end,an application case of the server was given,which achieved the desired designed goal.

Abstract:Based on the most popular and widely acknowledged framework for embedded digital video system-Davinci framework,this paper adopts Davinci technology typical processor-TMS320DM6446 as hardware platform,constructs a streaming media server.The streaming media server system can implement real-time coding,video storage,real-time supervision and remote control,which makes use of H.264,MPEG4 and AVS as video compression standard,the G.711 and G.728 as audio compression standard,the SIP as access control protocol,the RTP/RTCP/RTSP and UDP as multimedia control and transport protocol.The system has high performance and coding efficiency,low cost and delay time and hard real-time advantages,and it can affluently run in wide area network.

Abstract:A novel prototype system to obtain real-time and high quality video transmission in wireless environment of high packet loss rate and limited bandwidth was introduced.The wireless terminal used high performance multimedia Digital Signal Processor(DSP) as video processing and control core.Video signal was encoded by H.264 and transmitted over dual-channel of Enhanced Data rate for GSM Evolution(EDGE) to the video services.A transmission method and an error conceal method based on dual-channel buffers were proposed.The experimental results show that the system can transmit real-time video(CIF) and achieve satisfactory reconstructed video.
