Training on Clinical Thinking to Improve Clinicians' Skills of Disease Diagnosis and Management

Abstract:Medicine,as a practical and experiential science,requires clinicians to understand the disease entity gradually from the clinical practice.Qualified clinicians must have broad and solid basic theory and knowledge,excellent clinical techniques and critical clinical thinking.The clinical experience starts from the clinical thinking process,including the summarization of the knowledge of disease entity and lessons from clinical practice.Clinicians who have learnt correct and reasonable clinical route,thinking process and methods can improve their realization about the disease from perception to rationality and accumulate their clinical experiences.The target of the clinical critical thinking is to guide the diagnosis and management,which is crucial for medical practice,and to help clinicians understand the disease deeply and arrive better decision-making.Case-based discussion and forum is the essential route to improve the ability to think clinically.
