Abstract:Vegetation slope protection is the most important eco-protection method.Besides some features such as releasing flood,drainage,water and soil conservation,there are certain effects of landscape and ecological restoration,for preventing N,P,heavy metals and other chemicals from polluting rivers.Main application of vegetation slope protection currently comprised of construction method,application scope and technical features as well as mechanism and choice of vegetation were introduced.Because of lack of quantitative research and benefit analysis after completion of vegetation slope,it does not get better management and post-slope maintenance and construction.In order to manage vegetation slope protection much better and provide theoretical basis and evaluation criteria of slope construction,some evaluation methods for the slope were proposed,including slope stability,soil and water conservation,purifying capacity and biological diversity.
