Abstract:The characteristics and exploitation status quo of lithium resources in domestic salt lakes were introduced.The status quo and progress on extraction methods of lithium from salt lake brines at home and abroad were not only reviewed but also evaluated.Furthermore,the suitable method of extracting lithium from salt lake brines and future research directions were pointed out,in hope of providing some reference for the exploitation of our domestic lithium resources in salt lakes.
