Abstract:In this paper, based on the Bäcklund transformation for the supersymmetric MKdV equation, we propose a supersymmetric analogy for the second modified KdV equation. We also calculate its one-, two- and three-soliton solutions.

Abstract:In this paper, we study the N = 2a = 1 supersymmetric KdV equation. We construct its Darboux transformation and the associated B & auml;cklund transformation. Furthermore, we derive a nonlinear superposition formula, and as applications we calculate some solutions for this supersymmetric KdV equation and recover the related results for the Kersten-Krasil'shchik coupled KdV-mKdV system.

Abstract:The N=2a=−2 supersymmetric KdV equation is studied. A Darboux transformation and the corresponding Bäcklund transformation are constructed for this equation. Also, a nonlinear superposition formula is worked out for the associated Bäcklund transformation. The Bäcklund transformation and the related nonlinear superposition formula are used to construct integrable super semi-discrete and full discrete systems. The continuum limits of these discrete systems are also considered.

Abstract:The N = 2 supersymmetric KdV equations are studied within the framework of Hirota bilinear method. For two such equations, namely N = 2, a = 4 and N = 2, a = 1 supersymmetric KdV equations, we obtain the corresponding bilinear formulations. Using them, we construct particular solutions for both cases. In particular, a bilinear Bäcklund transformation is given for the N = 2, a = 1 supersymmetric KdV equation.

Abstract:For the supersymmetric KdV equation, a proper Darboux transformation is presented. This Darboux transformation leads to the Bäcklund transformation found earlier by Liu and Xie (2004 Phys. Lett. A 325 139–43). The Darboux transformation and the related Bäcklund transformation are used to construct integrable super differential–difference and difference–difference systems. The continuum limits of these discrete systems and of their Lax pairs are also considered.

Abstract:A super extension of the Korteweg-de Vries (KdV) equation proposed by Kupershmidt is studied. Its Bäcklund transformation is explicitly presented and a Lax pair is derived, so the integrability of this system is confirmed. The corresponding nonlinear superposition formula is constructed from the Bäcklund transformation and is interpreted as a fully discrete system, whose integrability is demonstrated by verifying its consistency around the cube (CAC) property and supplying a zero-curvature representation.

Abstract:A systematic construction for supersymmetric negative (non-local) flows for mKdV and KdV based on $sl(2,1)$ with a principal gradation is proposed in this paper. We show that smKdV and sKdV can be mapped onto each other through a gauge super Miura transformation, together with an additional condition for the negative flows, which ensure the supersymmetry of the negative sKdV flow. In addition, we classify both smKdV and sKdV flows with respect to the vacuum (boundary) solutions accepted for each flow, whether zero or non-zero. Each vacuum is used to derive both soliton solutions and the Heisenberg subalgebra for the smKdV hierarchy, where we present novel vertex operators and solutions for non-zero bosonic and fermionic vacuum. Finally, the gauge Miura transformation is used to obtain the sKdV solutions, which exhibit a rich degeneracy due to both multiple gauge super Miura transformations and multiple vacuum possibilities.

Bäcklund-Darboux transformations for super KdV type equations

Abstract:By introducing a Miura transformation, we derive a generalized super modified Korteweg-de Vries (gsmKdV) equation from the generalized super KdV (gsKdV) equation. It is demonstrated that, while the gsKdV equation takes Kupershmidt's super KdV (sKdV) equation and Geng-Wu's sKdV equation as two distinct reductions, there are also two equations, namely Kupershmidt's super modified KdV (smKdV) equation and Hu's smKdV equation, which are associated with the gsmKdV equation. We then construct a number of Bäcklund-Darboux transformations (BDTs) for both the gsKdV and gsmKdV equations, elucidating the interrelationship between them. By proper reductions, we are able to not only recover the previously known BDTs for Kupershimdt's sKdV and smKdV equations, but also to obtain the BDTs for the Geng-Wu's sKdV/smKdV and Hu's smKdV equations. As applications, we construct some exact solutions for those equations.

Abstract:In this paper, we construct a Darboux transformation and the related Bäcklund transformation for the supersymmetric Sawada-Kotera (SSK) equation. The associated nonlinear superposition formula is also worked out. We demonstrate that these are natural extensions of the similar results of the Sawada-Kotera equation and may be applied to produce the solutions of the SSK equation. Also, we present two semi-discrete systems and show that the continuum limit of one of them goes to the SKK equation.

Abstract:The derivation of nonlinear superposition formula is reexamined for the N=1 supersymmetric sinh-Gordon equation. It is shown that this formula results from the spatial part of Bäcklund transformation only and therefore can be associated with the supersymmetric MKdV equation.

Abstract:The N=1 supersymmetric mKdV-B system is transformed to a system of coupled bosonic equations by using the bosonization approach. The bosonized supersymmetric mKdV-B (BSmKdV-B) equation includes the usual mKdV equation and a linear partial differential equation. The bosonization approach can thus effectively avoid difficulties caused by anticommutative fermionic fields of the supersymmetric systems. The consistent tanh expansion (CTE) method is applied to the BSmKdV-B equation. A nonauto-Bäcklund (BT) theorem is obtained by using CTE method. The interaction solutions among solitons and other complicated waves including Painlevé II waves and periodic cnoidal waves are given through a nonauto-BT theorem. The features of the soliton-cnoidal interaction solutions are investigated both in analytical and graphical ways by combining the mapping and deformation method.

Abstract:In this paper, explicit and exact solitary wave solutions to the 2N+1 order KdV-type equations are given. The higher order generalized KdV equation(GKdVE), the higher order generalized MKdV equation (GMKdVE), and the higher order generalized Schamel's MKdV equation(GSMKdVE) are covered by these equations. Moreover, 2N+1 order KP-type equation is discussed.

Abstract:We consider the N = 1 supersymmetric Korteweg-de Vries (sKdV) equation within the framework of Hirota's bilinear method. We construct a Backlund transformation which may be interpreted as the modified sKdV equation. Also, we find a Lax representation and a nonlinear superposition formula. By direct applications of the nonlinear superposition formula, we calculate soliton solutions for the sKdV equation.

Within the framework of symmetry approach, we give a list containing six equations, which are (potentially) integrable systems. Among these equations, the most interesting ones include a supersymmetric Sawada-Kotera equation and a novel supersymmetric fifth order KdV equation. Abstract:A (2+1)-dimensional modified KdV (2DmKdV) system is considered from several perspectives. Firstly, residue symmetry, a type of nonlocal symmetry, and the B"{a}cklund transformation are obtained via the truncated Painlev'{e} expansion method. Subsequently, the residue symmetry is localized to a Lie point symmetry of a prolonged system, from which the finite transformation group is derived. Secondly, the integrability of the 2DmKdV system is examined under the sense of consistent tanh expansion solvability. Simultaneously, explicit soliton-cnoidal wave solutions are provided. Finally, abundant patterns of soliton molecules are presented by imposing the velocity resonance condition on the multiple-soliton solution.

Abstract:In this Letter, we propose a supersymmetric KdV–Sawada–Kotera–Ramani equation. Based on a super-Riemann theta function, we devise a lucid and straightforward way for explicitly constructing a quasi-periodic wave solution of the supersymmetric KdV–Sawada–Kotera-Ramani equation. In addition, a one-soliton solution is obtained as a limiting case of the periodic wave solution under small amplitude. Indeed different from the purely bosonic case, the quasi-periodic wave observed shows that there is an “influencing band” among the waves under the presence of the Grassmann variable. The waves are symmetric about the band but collapse along with the band. Furthermore, the amplitudes of the waves increase as the waves move away from the band.
