Abstract:To solve the NC (numerical control) defects of instability, high cost and large volume based on PC system,the NC hardware platform was established based on the PMAC motion control card and ARM system. The structure of main control software was designed based on ARM-Linux operation system. The module partition scheme of embedded NC system hardware was researched. The solution of NC code complier and the driver of PMAC in Linux were given. The practice shows that the NC machining require can be meet with real time embedded NC system.

Abstract:With the development of soccer robots, application of embedded real-time operating system (RTOS) in the control system of robots is attracting more and more considerable attention for meeting the increased requirements of complexity and real time. A control system of intelligent robocup was developed, which was based on the embedded RTOS of MicroC/OS-II and the digital signal processing (DSP) chip of TMS320F2407. It adopted the control algorithm of PPLID available in the literature. This control system is superior in computation, control and real-time performance.

Abstract:To improve production quality and efficiency of synthetic diamond, a novel control system of cubic press has been developed based on ARM7TDMI(S3C44B0X). Two efficient methods were adopted to solve the problems of large zero drift and poor repeatability by software and hardware. The pressure boosting speed and control precision were improved by three motors coordinated control and a special circuit was proposed for temperature control. Furthermore, several measures were utilized to prevent the malfunction of system. Application results have indicated that this control system has the advantages of low zero drift, high control precision, good repeatability and reliability.

Abstract:In order to coordinate with the control of three-axis servo injection molding manipulator,the embedded technology was applied to the design of the supervisory controller.After the analysis of the actual man-machine interaction need of the manipulator controller,the AT91RM9200 was used as the hardware core and the embedded Linux was used as the operation system.It was composed of LCD display and touch screen input module,keyboard input module,serial communication module,Ethernet communication module and etc..After tests,the results show that this supervisory controller is safe,reliable,and it could provide good reference in designing for other similar industrial controllers.

Abstract:A new control system of the fully automatic flat knitting machine developed based onμC/OS-Ⅱ embedded technology was introduced,and the functional requirements of the flat knitting machine and execution of its control system were analyzed.This system used a 32-bit ARM microprocessor and an expander as the hardware carriers and theμC/OS-Ⅱas the real time operation system.It adopted the design of multi-tasks,and realized the task scheduler by its priority and communications between tasks with theμC/OS-Ⅱoperation system.

Abstract:Current domestic and international electronic let-off and take-up control system of loom was analyzed first.Then,the control principle,hardware architecture and software architecture of the control system of loom were described.μC/OS-II is the real-time operating system,ARM(S3C44B0) is the main controller in the system.The control system gets the tension by sensor and the warp by comparing to given value.According to the warp,the control system gets the compensatory value to control let-off motor by intelligent fuzzy-PID arithmetic.Therefore,the given electronic let-off control system of loom is a real-time closed loop system and can control value of let-of well.

Abstract:Based on the reliable function and simple design,taking good advantages of the advanced controller and control technology,a loom machine system design based on ARM is presented in this paper,which uses S3CEV40 of EMBEST Company as a centre part and functional models as periphery,making up of the hardware part and composed according to the technical procedure.The IO expandance based on CPLD make the whole system flexible and powerful.Motor driver module is another major component of this system.It adopts ARM chip-based frequency vector control strategy.In software,it servo controls motor in interrupt mode.It is turned out to be reliable in function and simple in implement by practice.

Abstract:For the shortages of current multi-axis motion control system in synchronization and the control a-bility, a multi-axis motion control system based on EtherCAT is designed. The master station and slave sta-tion are constructed using real-time operating system. A solution of building embedded EtherCAT master is presented, which uses IgH EtherCAT Master open source components for RT-Linux, and Qt for GUI. The slave of this system is based on uC/OS-III operating system, which uses preemptive kernel to guarantee the real-time data among slaves. Thus, this system can ensure the synchronization among multi-axis. The results shows that, the multi-axis motion control system based on EtherCAT has a facilitate connection and the syn-chronization time is at microsecond level, which can meet the requirement of real-time and synchronization.

Abstract:A stepper motor subdivision control system has been designed in this paper,which is based on ARM7 chip LPC2214 and the LMD18245 electrical machinery special-purpose driver chip.The "linear + sine" wave driver method and the electric current vector constant breadth algorithm is used in this system.The digital wave data is generated by ARM controller,which is converted to corresponding control voltage.The voltage is enlarged by driver chip LMD18245 to drive the two-phase stepper motor.The control sign is input by the keyboard,and the frequency and the subdivided multiple are displayed by liquid crystal.The software based on uCLinux and MiniGUI platform is designed.Multi-purpose control of the stepper motor and 4096 subdivision multiple are realized in the system.

Abstract:To improve the loom′s speed and the quality of textiles,an embedded system for warp tension which can fulfill the required control function at a comparatively low cost is designed,taking advantages of S3C44B0X′s rich hardware resources and embedded operating system μClinux's high real time and multiple tasks.The description of the system includes the design and implementation of hardware architecture,the design and implementation of application program and the keep method of wrap tension control.It can keep wrap tension constant and response fast with high precision.It is easy to eliminate start marks and other problems.The results indicate that the control system can settle some difficult control problems and has advanced functions.

Abstract:Design and development of the remote monitoring and controlling system for die casting workshop based on controller link bus technique with the requirements for integrative management of die casting workshop have been described including the system structure, communication and the implementation of software and hardware for remote monitoring terminal. All the machines in the workshop and the remote monitoring terminal are taken as the nodes in the controller link system. Based on the communication capability of the system, an Omeron PCI board was used as hardware structure for communicating PLC with master machines to realize the high speed exchange of data. The Kingview software was used in the terminal to realize the remote monitoring and management for die casting workshop.

Abstract:Computerized flat knitter is always the main device in the manufacture of knitted sweater,whose core part is its control system.With the popularization of computerized knitting,those computerized flat knitters with high cost-performance and high integration are becoming more and more popular,and accordingly their demand is bigger and bigger.However,most current knitters in the market utilize Single Chip Machine as their main processor or are developed based on Industry Control Machine.The former has low integration while the latter has high cost.Through analysis on structure and function of knitter system,by employing an EPU chip based on ARM kernel,which is cooperated with two high-integration CPLD chips,an improved embedded control system in computerized flat knitter with its hardware and software is designed to solve the above problems.This control system has self-contained knitter control function,nice graphical user interface,vast data memory interface and topping network support,which guarantees that it can fulfill most demands of knitter control and users' requirements.Control system based on such design scheme is outstanding with its high cost-performance and integration,combined with its high utility.

Abstract:Designing an embedded CNC system of engraving machine based on ARM and CPLD as well as working theory、hardware designing and software programming are illustrated, MicroC/OS-II the real-time multitask operation system ported on the 32 bit ARM microprocessor LPC2214 of PHILIPS is analyzed. Designing an embedded CNC system of engraving machine is made up with controlling board 、electrical source、stepping motor and equipment controlled. Using the system implement the function of controlling these stepping motors accuracily. Developing the system take low cost and have high reliability, and improve the precision of machining and efficiency.
