Abstract:In this paper, we consider the initial boundary value problem for a class of singular parabolic equations with viscoelastic term and logarithmic term. By using the technique of cut-off and the method of Faedo-Galerkin approximation, the local existence of the weak solution is established. Based on the potential well method, the global existence of the weak solution is derived. Furthermore, we prove that the weak solution blows up in finite time by taking the concavity analysis method.

Abstract:Abstract In this paper, the initial boundary value problem for a nonlocal semilinear pseudo-parabolic equation is investigated, which was introduced to model phenomena in population dynamics and biological sciences where the total mass of a chemical or an organism is conserved. The existence, uniqueness and asymptotic behavior of the global solution and the blowup phenomena of solution with subcritical initial energy are established. Then these results are extended parallelly to the critical initial energy. Further the blowup phenomena of solution with supercritical initial energy is proved, but the existence, uniqueness and asymptotic behavior of the global solution with supercritical initial energy are still open.

Abstract:This paper concerns the initial-boundary value problem for a mixed pseudo-parabolic $p$-Laplacian type equation. By constructing a family of potential wells, we first present the explicit expression for the depth of potential well, and then prove the existence, uniqueness and decay estimate of global solutions and the blowup phenomena of solutions with subcritical initial energy. Next, we extend parallelly these results to the critical initial energy. Lastly, the existence, uniqueness and asymptotic behavior of global solutions with supercritical initial energy are proved by further analyzing the properties of $\omega$-limits of solutions.

Abstract:In this paper, we first establish the local well-posednesss for the Cauchy problem of a $N$-peakon system in the sense of Hadamard in both critical Besov spaces and supercritical Besov spaces. Second, we gain a blow-up criterion. According to blow-up criterion wemreach a precise blow-up criterion. Under a sign condition, we reach the existence of global solution. Finally, based on the first-order difference method, we give a simulation example of the blow-up of the equation and the properties of the global solution.

Abstract:In this paper, we study the global existence and finite time blow-up of positive solutions for a parabolic system on hyperbolic space. Using the heat semigroup and constructing subsolutions and supersolutions, we obtain the Fujita type results. In the case of a critical exponent, the critical exponent is not a blow-up exponent.

Abstract:Throughout this paper, we consider the equationu(t) - Delta u = e(vertical bar del u vertical bar)with homogeneous Dirichlet boundary condition. One of our main goals is to show that the existence of global classical solution can derive the existence of classical stationary solution, and the global solution must converge to the stationary solution in C ((Omega) over bar). On the contrary, the existence of the stationary solution also implies the global existence of the classical solution at least in the radial case. The other one is to show that finite time gradient blowup will occur for large initial data or domains with small measure.

Abstract:This paper is concerned with the blowup phenomenon of stochastic parabolic equations both on bounded domain and in the whole space. We introduce a new method to study the blowup phenomenon on bounded domain. Comparing with the existing results, we delete the assumption that the solutions to stochastic heat equations are non-negative. Then the blowup phenomenon in the whole space is obtained by using the properties of heat kernel. We obtain that the solutions will blow up in finite time for nontrivial initial data.

Abstract:This paper is concerned with a class of semilinear hyperbolic equations with singular potentials on the manifolds with conical singularities, which was introduced to describe a field propagating on the spacetime of a true string. We prove the local existence and uniqueness of the solution by using the contraction mapping principle. In the spirit of variational principle and mountain pass theorem, a class of initial data are precisely divided into three different energy levels. The main ingredient of this paper is to conduct a comprehensive and systematic study on the dynamic behavior of the solution with three different energy levels. We introduce a family of potential wells to derive a threshold of the existence of global solutions and blow up in finite time of solution in both cases with sub-critical and critical initial energy. Moreover, two sets of sufficient conditions for initial data leading to blow up result are established at arbitrarily positive initial energy level.

We prove the local existence of solutions in the natural energy space by using the standard Galërkin method. Abstract:In the present paper, the primitive equations, which can be used to simulate the large scale motion of ocean and atmosphere, are considered in the three-dimensional domain bounded below by a fixed solid boundary and above by a free moving boundary. The global existence and uniqueness of strong solutions are established and the long time convergence to the equilibrium state is showed either at exponential rate for horizontal periodic domain or at algebraic rate for horizontal whole space.

Abstract:In this paper, we study the initial-boundary value problem for a fractional pseudo-parabolic p-Laplacian type equation. First, by means of the imbedding theorems, the theory of potential wells and the Galerkin method, we prove the existence and uniqueness of global solutions with subcritical initial energy, critical initial energy and supercritical initial energy, respectively. Next, we establish the decay estimate of global solutions with subcritical initial energy, critical initial energy and supercritical initial energy, respectively. For supercritical initial energy, we also need to analyze the properties of ω\documentclass[12pt]{minimal}\usepackage{amsmath}\usepackage{wasysym}\usepackage{amsfonts}\usepackage{amssymb}\usepackage{amsbsy}\usepackage{mathrsfs}\usepackage{upgreek}\setlength{\oddsidemargin}{-69pt}\begin{document}$$\omega $$\end{document}-limits of solutions. Finally, we discuss the finite time blowup of solutions with subcritical initial energy and critical initial energy, respectively.

Abstract:In this paper, we study an initial boundary value problem for a nonlocal parabolic equation that includes a diffusion term and convex–concave nonlinearities. By establishing the L q -estimate and analyzing its energy, we prove the existence of global solutions and obtain some blow-up conditions. Given the variational structure of the problem, we utilize the Mountain-pass theorem to demonstrate the existence of nontrivial steady-state solutions. Additionally, we establish the dynamical behavior of global solutions whose trajectory is relatively compact in H 0 1 ( Ω ) , and which uniformly converge to some non-zero steady state after a long time, owing to the energy functional satisfying the P.S. condition. Finally, we derive an unstable steady states sequence by using another minimax theorem.
