Abstract:In this Note, we establish a new partial regularity theory on certain homogeneous complex Monge-Ampere equations. This partial regularity theory is obtained by studying foliations by holomorphic disks and their relation to these equations.

Abstract:In this paper, we study the regularity of convex solutions to the Dirichlet problem of the homogeneous Monge-Ampere equation det D(2)u = 0. We prove that if the domain is a strip region and the boundary functions are locally uniformly convex and C-k+2,C-alpha smooth, then the solution is C-k+2,C-alpha smooth up to boundary. By an example, we show the solution may fail to be C-2 smooth if boundary functions are not locally uniformly convex. Similar results have also been obtained for the Dirichlet problem on bounded convex domains.

Abstract:The purpose of this paper is to establish a completely new partial regularity theory on certain homogeneous complex Monge-Ampere equations. Our partial regularity theory will be obtained by studying foliations by holomorphic curves and and their relations to homogeneous complex Monge-Ampere equations. Abstract:In this paper, we investigate the following singular Monge–Ampère equation(0.1){det⁡D2u=1(Hu)n+k+2u⁎kinΩ⊂⊂Rn,u=0,on∂Ω where k≥0, H<0 are constants and u⁎=x⋅∇u(x)−u(x) is the Legendre transformation of u. Equation (0.1) is related to proper affine hyperspheres. We will show the existence of solutions of (0.1) u∈C∞(Ω)∩C(Ω¯) via regularization method. Using the technique in [10], [12], we also obtain the optimal graph regularity of the solution of (0.1).

Abstract:In this paper, we study the partial regularity of the solutions for the three-dimensional Boussinesq equations. We first prove a criterion of local Hölder continuous of the suitable weak solutions of the Boussinesq equations, and show that one-dimensional Hausdorff measure of the singular point set is zero. Secondly, we present a local uniform gradient estimate on the suitable weak solutions and assert that the local behavior of the solution can be dominated by some scaled quantities, such as the scaled local L3-norm of the velocity. Besides, when the initial data v0 and θ0 decay sufficiently rapidly at ∞, the distribution of the regular point set of the suitable weak solutions is also considered. Based on it, one can find that MHD equations are more similar to Navier–Stokes equations than Boussinesq equations. Finally, we give a local regularity criterion of the suitable weak solutions near the boundary.

Abstract:We prove a C-1,C-1 estimate for solutions of complex Monge-Ampere equations on compact almost Hermitian manifolds. Using this C-1,C-1 estimate, we show the existence of C-1,C-1 solutions to the degenerate Monge-Ampere equations, the corresponding Dirichlet problems and the singular Monge-Ampere equations. We also study the singularities of the pluricomplex Green's function. In addition, the proof of the above C-1,C-1 estimate is valid for a kind of complex Monge-Ampere-type equation. As a geometric application, we prove the C-1,C-1 regularity of geodesics in the space of Sasakian metrics.

Sections 1.1 and 1.2 follow [2] and [3] respectively, while Sections 2.1, 2.2 and 2.3 are based on [5], [4] and [1] respectively. This note is written for lectures in the Special Lecture Series in Peking University in the summer of 2007. A part of it was presented in the Summer School on Geometric Analysis in the University of Science and Technology of China, July 2006.

Abstract:. The aim of this work is to consider the partial regularity for the stationary weak solutions to the Landau-Lifshitz system of Ferromagnetic spin chain from a m -dimensional manifold M into the unit sphere S 2 of R 3 . The Landau-Lifshitz system is in appearance very similar to the heat flows of harmonic maps into sphere. However the monotonicity inequality, which plays an important role in getting partial regularity, does not hold in this case. This becomes a large barrier to regularity. In the present paper we get a generalized monotonicity inequality, and find the singular set of the stationary weak solutions of Landau-Lifshitz system.

Abstract:We prove a C1,1 estimate for solutions of complex Monge–Ampère equations on compact Kähler manifolds with possibly nonempty boundary, in a degenerate cohomology class. This strengthens previous estimates of Phong–Sturm. As applications we deduce the local C1,1 regularity of geodesic rays in the space of Kähler metrics associated to a test configuration, as well as the local C1,1 regularity of quasi-psh envelopes in nef and big classes away from the non-Kähler locus.

Abstract:We consider the complex Monge–Ampère equation on a compact Kähler manifold (M, g) when the right hand side F has rather weak regularity. Abstract:In the category of metrics with conical singularities along a smooth divisor with angle in (0, 2 pi), we show that locally defined weak solutions (C-1,C-1 solutions) to the Kahler-Einstein equations actually possess maximum regularity, which means the metrics arc actually Wilder continuous in the singular polar coordinates. This shows the weak Kahler-Einstein metrics constructed by Guenancia-Paun, and independently by Yao, are all actually strong-conical Kahler-Einstein metrics. The key step is to establish a Liouville-type theorem for weak-conical Kahler-Ricci flat metrics defined over C-n, which depends on a Calderon-Zygmund theory in the conical setting. The regularity of globally defined weak-conical Kahler-Einstein metrics is already proved by Guenancia-Paun using a different method.
