Abstract:The six new species of Tetrigidae are described. Type specimens are deposited in the Institute of Zoology, Shaanxi Normal University.1. Hedotettix brevipennis, sp. nov. (Fig. 1)This new species is allied to Hedotettix latifemurus Zheng et Wei, but differs in : 1) in profile, upper margin of pronotum slightly arc before shoulders; 2) without a pair of short longitudinal keels between shoulders; 3)hind process of pronotum slightly reaching over the top of hind femur; 4) hind wing not reaching the top of hind process; 5) hind margin of subgenital plate of female with three teeth. Length of body: ♀ 11 mm; length of pronotum: ♀ 12.5 mm; length of hind femur: ♀ 7 mm. Holotype ♀, Guangxi: Yizhou, (05-2003), collected by Deng Weian.2. Coptotettix circinihumerus sp. nov. (Fig. 2) This new species is allied to Coptotettix huanjiangensis Zheng et Jiang, but differs in : 1) median keel of pronotum is complete; 2) in profile, upper margin of pronotum nearly straight, slightly arc before shoulders; 3)humeral angle is rounded; 4) without a pair of short longitudinal keels between shoulders; 5) hind wing reaching beyond the top of hind process; 6) hind tibia is black brown, without light ring. Length of body: ♀ 10 mm; length of pronotum: ♀ 7 mm; length of hind femur : ♀6 mm. Holotype ♀, Guangxi: Nandan, 06-2003, collected by Deng Weian.3. Coptotettix hechiensis, sp. nov. (Fig. 3)This new species is allied to Coptotettix fangchengensis Zheng et Jiang, but differs in: 1) in profile, upper margin of pronotum slightly arc before shoulders, and wave like backward; 2) hind wing reaching the top of hind process; 3) hind margin of subgenital plate of female angular protruding; 4) lower side of hind femur is not black.Length of body: ♀ 9.5～10 mm; length of pronotum: ♀ 10～11 mm; length of hind femur: ♀ 6～6.5 mm.Holotype ♀, Guangxi: Hechi, 08-2003; paratypes 6♀, Guangxi: Hechi, 08-2003, collected by Deng Weian.4. Tetrix curvimarginus, sp. nov. (Fig. 4)This new species is allied to Tetrix grossus Zheng et Shi, but differs in : 1) width of vertex 1.5 times the width of an eye; 2) width of sulcus of frontal costa wider than the width of first segment of antenna; 3) in profile, upper margin of pronotum distinctly protruding before shoulders; 4) with a pair of short longitudinal keels between shoulders; 5) hind margin of subgenital plate of female concave.Length of body: ♀ 10.5 mm; length of pronotum: ♀ 8 mm; length of hind femur: ♀7 mm. (Fig. 5)This new species is allied to Tetrix japonica (Bolivar), but differs in : 1) width of vertex 1.3 times the width of an eye; 2) hind process reaching anal plate or reaching two third of hind femur; 3)hind margin of subgenital plate of female with three teeth; 4) width of subgenital plate larger than its length; 5) length of upper valve of ovipositor 2 times of its width.Length of body: ♀ 7.5 mm; length of pronotum: ♀ 5.1 mm; length of hind femur: ♀5.5mm.Holotype ♀, Guangxi: Nandan, 05-2003, collected by Deng Weian.6. Euparatettix albonemus, sp. nov. (Fig. 6)This new species is allied to Euparatettix leuconotus Li, Zheng and Lu, but differs in : 1) antennae inserting in the lower one third of anterior margin of eyes; 2) without a pair of short longitudinal keels between shoulders; 3) disc of pronotum black, with a wide longitudinal white stripe in the middle; 4) hind tibia is dark brown, with a light ring near the base.Length of body: ♀ 8 mm; length of pronotum: ♀ 12 mm; length of hind femur: ♀ 5 mm.Holotype ♀, Guangxi: Locheng, 08-2003, collected by Deng Weian.
