Three New Species of Tetrigoidea (orthoptera) from Southern Region of Guangxi

Abstract:In this paper three new species of Tetrigidae are described. The type specimens are deposited in the Institute of Zoology, Shaanxi Normal University, China.1. Coptotettix beihaiensis, sp. nov. (Figs.1~3) The new species is allied to Coptotettix longjiangensis Zheng et Wei, 2000, but differs in: 1) with a pair of abbreviated carinae between shoulders; 2) upper margin of middle femora wave-like; 3) length of upper valvue of ovipositor 2.3 times its width; 4) hind margin of subgenital plate of female with three teeth; 5) with forfication in the top of subgenital plate of male. Length of body: ♂7.0~7.5 mm, ♀8.0~9.0 mm; Length of pronotum: ♂7.5~8.0 mm, ♀8.4~8.8 mm;Length of hind femur: ♂5.5~5.5 mm;♀5.5~6.0 mm. Holotype: ♀ , Beihai City (Guantouling), Guangxi Zhuangzu Autonomous Region, 109.1°E, 21.4°N, 30 m, 04-Ⅱ-2005, collected by DENG Wei-an; Paratypes: 7♂♂10♀♀, same data as holotype; 4♂♂5♀♀, Hepu City (Shikang), Guangxi Zhuangzu Autonomous Region, 109.2°E, 21.6°N, 80 m, 08- Ⅱ -2005; 1 ♂ 1 ♀ , Qinzhou City (Jiulong), Guangxi Zhuangzu Autonomous Region, 108.7°E, 22.1°N, 150 m, 15-Ⅱ-2005; collected by DENG Wei-an. 2. Coptotettix guinanensis, sp. nov. (Figs.4~6) The new species is allied to Coptotettix longtangensis Zheng et Jiang, 2004, but differs in: 1) antennae situated the lower one third of the anterior margin of eyes; 2) with a pair short obliquecurved keels between the shoulders; 3) hind wing reaching the top of hind process; 4) lower margins of middle femora straight; 5) hind wing black. Length of body: ♂7.0~7.5 mm; ♀11.0~11.5 mm; Length of pronotum: ♂7.8~ 8.3 mm;♀10.0~10.5 mm; Length of hind femur: ♂5.0~5.5 mm; ♀6.5~7.0 mm. Holotype: ♀, Beihai City (Tieshangang), Guangxi Zhuangzu Autonomous Region, 109.5°E, 21.5°N, 30 m, 12-Ⅱ-2005, collected by DENG Wei-an; Paratypes: 7 ♂ ♂ 16 ♀ ♀ , same data as holotype; 2 ♀ , Hepu City (Zhuguangnongchang), Guangxi Zhuangzu Autonomous Region, 109.2°E, 21.6°N, 60 m, 09-Ⅱ-2005; 1♂1 ♀ , Qinzhou City (Dafanpo), Guangxi Zhuangzu Autonomous Region, 108.8°E, 21.8°N, 40 m, 16-Ⅱ-2005; collected by DENG Wei-an. 3. Euparatettix annulicornis, sp. nov. (Figs.7~10) The new species is allied to Euparatettix melanotus Zheng et Jiang, 1998, but differs in: 1) the segment of antennae black, anterior and posterior part of segment white; 2) hind process reaching middle of hind tibia; 3) hind wing reaching over the top of hind process about 2 mm; 4) middle part of pronotum black, anterior and posterior part of pronotum brown; 5) hind tibia black, base white. Length of body: ♀6.8 mm;Length of pronotum: ♀8.2 mm;Length of hind femur: ♀5.5 mm. Holotype: ♀, Qinzhou City (Shajing), Guangxi Zhuangzu Autonomous Region, 108.6°E, 21.7°N, 30 m, 17-Ⅱ-2005; collected by DENG Wei-an.
