Abstract:A fuzzy controller of the winding/unwinding control system used in jig-dyeing machine is introduced, which is superior to the one with conventional optimal PID controller in convergence speed and stability. Its mathematical model and transfer function are presented based on mechanism of the winding/unwinding control system. Simulation of the fuzzy controller carried out in the MATLAB (Simulink) environment proves that the control system based on fuzzy controller is superior in quality, precision and operation to a conventional optimal PID controller. The outlined experimental results also show the effectiveness and the robustness of the fuzzy PID controller in good dynamic performance, high robustness to parameter variation and disturbance.
A Cfd-Based Test Method For Control Of Indoor Environment In Air-Conditioned Rooms

Abstract:Because of the complexity of the indoor dynamic thermal environment, several kinds of simplified surrogate models, such as zone model and proper orthogonal decomposition (POD) based reduced-order model, have been developed for fast simulation and control purpose. To test and calibrate the performance of such models, a computational fluid dynamics (CFD) based test method is presented in this paper. The proposed virtual test model combines a CFD-based air-conditioned room with a single neuron adaptive PID controller, which is programmed using the user-defined function and embedded in the CFD model. Additionally, a space temperature offset model is developed using least squares estimation (LSE). This offset model is used to compensate the temperature difference between actual sensor locations and occupied zones. Test studies not only show the great interoperation between the PID controller and the CFD simulation but also demonstrate the acceptable accuracy of the LSE-based temperature estimation.

Abstract:Concerning the nonlinearity,time-variant and imprecise model in the Variable Air Volume(VAV) air-conditioning systems,an adaptive variable discourse fuzzy control was proposed to improve the dynamic performance and accuracy of the control system.Based on derivation of VAV air-conditioning terminal model,simulation was conducted.The simulation results show that compared with the traditional PID control and conventional fuzzy control,variable discourse fuzzy control improves the system dynamic and static characteristics and steady state accuracy.Therefore,the fuzzy controller's performance has been greatly improved with good control effect.

Abstract:Temperature control systems are characterized as non-linear,large time-delay and time-varying parameters.This paper designs the fuzzy immune PID controller for them.The controller absorbs all kinds of good points in fuzzy logic,immune mechanism and PID tuning.It combines nonlinear effects in fuzzy control,adaptive ability in immune control and broad application as PID control.The paper introduces the control principle,design approach and Matlab simulation of fuzzy immune PID controller.The simulation result shows that the controller can guarantee the closed-loop robust stability with continuous interference and make the system work well in both dynamic and static state.

Abstract:In view of the characteristic of temperature control,this paper presents the design of a temperature controller based on Fuzzy-PID technology.Which combines the Fuzzy control algorithm with the PID control algorithm,thus coming up with the advantages of the two control modes and building up the compound tactics of the Fuzzy-PID adjustment unit.The paper also puts forward the structure of five task cycling programs designed by single chip computer software.Results from practice show that the Fuzzy-PID temperature controller is far more advanced than other products of the type.A very good effect has been obtained from the process control equipment in operation.

Abstract:To reduce the complexity of programming fuzzy controller and the difficulty of introducing fuzzy control to a thermal system, a software system for fuzzy controller development is successfully designed. This kind of system is developed firstly. The “software project” design idea is adopted and the Tsukamoto fuzzy interference algorithm is selected as the core algorithm. By using “data flow file” method, a dynamic link library for data transfer is designed. This system has greatly raised the efficiency of developing fuzzy controller by simplifying the work of programming. Since the sophisticated algorithm is selected, the stability of a fuzzy controller can be ensured. The fuzzy controller designed by this system can be used to control all kinds of medium sized and small sized objects. And the effect excels that of the normal controller.

Then, the experimental process of the FFSl control and PID control for the TRDTS has been analyzed in detail. At the end of the paper, the main elements which affect the performance of the fuzzy control have been discussed, and some corresponding improved methods have been suggested.

Abstract:Aimed at the difficulties in building the models and the weakness on the control performance in traditional temperature control system,makes the electric heating furnace as studied object and designs fuzzy PID controller;the design step of fuzzy PID controller was introduced;the system simulation model is constituted.With the simulation and analysis using MATLAB,showing that the system has high control precise and small overshoot,possesses strong robustness.It is satisfied with the stability of temperature control and results show good control performance.

Abstract:During the developing of a new thermostatic bath, we found that the classical two-dimensional fuzzy controller can't obviously improve the performance of thermostatic bath, and the complexity of the control system was largely increased in contrary. A new quasi-two-dimensional fuzzy controller has been provided for the continuous temperature control. The final experimental results indicated that the new Fuzzy-PID controller is suitable for the continuous temperature control with high accuracy; the control time needed is reduced notably.

Abstract:This paper focuses on the hardware and software design method of a new type of high efficient temperature and humidity testing cabinet. As the hardware core is based on the STC12C5620AD MCU, the entire hardware system is simpler and more reliable. By using the box inside the environmental cycle and using adjust channel of the atmospheric environment, the system efficiency is greatly improved, while energy-saving effect is remarkable. By adopting expert PID control algorithm and using hardware and software compensation measures, the system dynamic and static quality and control precision is further improved. Furthermore, the use of intelligent terminal as input and output device, which is simpler to operate, meets the different needs of consumers.

Abstract:It is very difficult to obtain a good control effect for HVAC systems that possess multivariables, long delay times, and nonlinear characteristics by traditional control methods. Fuzzy control is already an efficient way to implement the control process in HVAC. Fuzzy logic reasoning is a basis of fuzzy control, and the method of the compositional rule of inference (CRI) is used widely. This paper puts forward a new concise method of fuzzy logic reasoning - the functioning-fuzzy-subset inference. (FFSI) - and analyzes and compares the performance of the FFSI with CRI for the nonsingleton fuzzy logic control system with discrete domain, triangular membership function, approximate fuzzifier, Mamdani style fuzzy control rules, and maximum-minimum inference. Then the paper discusses the control effects of the FFSI, CRI, and PID by simulationfor a controlled system with one order inertia and delay times, which is very general in HVAC. In order to utilize the FFSI in HVAC, a single-chip microcomputer, which will be an important device to carry out the fuzzy control experiment in HVAC, has been developed and introduced in brief.

Abstract:The existing control theory is divided into two parts in this paper, i.e. precise control theory and fuzzy control theory. After investigating the advantages and disadvantages of the precise control and fuzzy control respectively, the so-called fuzzy-precise combined control strategy is proposed from the view of practical application in the paper. This new strategy will bring maximum control benefits with minimum design efforts. As the application background, the fuzzy-precise combined control strategy has applied into four full scale paper machine control systems, and all of them got good control results.

Abstract:Thermal performance of fresh air ventilator could be evaluated accurately by two room method, and control precision of temperature and humidity conditions in room A and room B impacts greatly on the accuracy of the results of the assessment. Two rooms air system is a typical multi-variable, big lag, temperature and humidity coupled system. Traditional PID control is difficult to achieve high-precision control of temperature and humidity conditions. In response to these issues, this paper solves the problem of this type of multi-variable control, by the method of a combination of the traditional PI control and fuzzy control. This paper brings forward the control system design, establishes rules of fuzzy control and query table of fuzzy control based on experiment and air-conditioning theory, makes a great deal of testing and parameters adjustment and obtain better control. The control precision of temperature of two rooms can be up to +/- 0.2 degrees C, the control precision of the relative humidity of two rooms up to +/- 1.5%. Thermal performance test of fresh air ventilator with two rooms can be fully met.

Abstract:A multivariable fuzzy control strategy was proposed for the heat setting machine in post-procedure of printing and dyeing industry.In this strategy,the temperature field was controlled by means of three hierarchical subsections; each subsection was regulated with single fuzzy control loop so that the single loop temperature can be kept more precise.Based on this, a forward multivariable fuzzy controller was introduced for resolving the problems of subsections interference and temperature distributing uneven.Finally, the control strategy was completed in a real printing and dyeing process using SIEMENS PLC,the practical results show that the proposed approach is better than conventional PID approach.

Abstract:The aim of the temperature control is to heat the system up todelimitated temperature, afterwardhold it at that temperature in insured manner. Fuzzy Logic Controller (FLC) is best way in which this type of precision control can be accomplished by controller. During past twenty yearssignificant amount of research using fuzzy logichas done in this field of control of non-linear dynamical system. Here we have developed temperature control system using fuzzy logic. Control theory techniques are the root from which convention controllers are deducted. The desired response of the output can be guaranteed by the feedback controller.

Abstract:Generally, It is difficult to build an exact mathematical model for extremely complexity of the heat transfer process of Heat exchanger and it is hard to perform control with traditional techniques.
