Abstract:With software Moldflow, rehology equation and P-V-T equation for feedstock were established. The physical properties of the feedstock like specific heat, thermal expansion and Young's modulus were defined in the materials database. It is shown that simulation results are consistent with the actual process. Injection temperature, pressure and rate play a critical role in the formation of welding line and voids.
