Abstract:An interface based on USB is designed for Data Acquirement System with DSP chips. Cypress EZ-USB technology and FPGA technology were used in this interface. This kind of interface can achieve high speed data communication between the Data Acquirement System and the PC in the USB 1.1 protocol, and it can meet the requirements of high speed and real-time requirements.

Abstract:The USB2.0 supports the high-speed signaling at 480 Mbps. It can meet the needs of image and voice signal transmitting. In this paper, after demonstration of the characters and functions of high speed digital circuit of USB2.0 link layer, a novel design and implementation method of data recovery circuits, which is based on all digital phase-looked loop (ADPLL), for the full-speed mode, as well as a new approach of parallel implementation of the encode/decode module in high-speed mode were proposed. The simulation results indicated that the circuit has reached 480MHz. A FPGA hardware simulation system was developed, in which the functions of link layer was verified.

Abstract:On the purpose of portable high speed data acquisition,a high speed data acquisition system based on USB2.0 protocol was developed.It used the TI's C6000 series DSPs as the core part and realized the high data transfer speed by the USB interface chip.Details about the HPI(host-port interface) of DSP,the GPIF(general programmable interface) and endpoints of USB chip,the firmware program of USB chip,the application program of PC host and so on were depicted.The acquisition system was applied to partial discharge on-line monitoring,and realized the detection and reconstruction of partial discharge signals.

Abstract:This paper introduces the status of the data acquisition system,analyses the function demands of the high speed data acquisition system,and accomplishes the corresponding design scheme.The hardware of the system frame and the circuits of the main module are given in detail.The structure of the system software and the flow-chart of the main program are explained.In this system,MAX1420 is used as the analog to digital converter,DSP(TMS320C6713)as the CPU,FT245BM to realize the USB2.0 interface function,and large-capacity memorizer to backup the sampling data.The system testing shows that the system can real time complete the data acquisition and storage.

Abstract:The data acquisition and processing system are proceeding towards faster, more powerful, easier to use and more cost effectiveness. This paper discuss the design of the high speed and convenient data acquisition and processing system based on DSP and USB 2.0, and expatiates the principle and method of the virtual instruments system in detail. The system employs an ADS8346 to sample the six channel signals simultaneously with a resolution of 16-bit.It utilizes EZ-USB FX2 as the USB2.0 interface, which can achieve the high speed communication between the host and the system. It uses TMS320VC33 (dsp) as the core chip, which can accomplish the function of the main control and real-time digital signal processing. The system enhances the virtual instruments' advantage more by the combination between software and hardware.

Abstract:The design of data acquisition system with high speed and high precision,which is based on USB (Universal Serial Bus),is introduced in this paper. A new audio A/D chip AKM5394 is applied to the data acquisition system. Using CPLD,FIFO,USB interface chip and two AKM5394,a four channel data acquisition system with high precision is implemented. The data are also saved and displayed in real time by USB interface on computer. The driving program,which is used for Windows 2000 or Windows XP,and the application program of the system are realized in Visual C++ language,and the firmware codes are programmed in C language. Because of low cost and a high performance,the system with a measuring precision up to 22 bit can be widely used in such fields as measuring control,signal analysis,and so on.

Abstract:While transferring the data sampled by the high speed sampling board to the host computer through PCI bus,the way of transferring the data concerns the speed deeply.Traditionally,we made the host computer read the data storing in the data sampling board,but the speed can′t satisfy us.This paper explained a means of allocating memory chunks in the main memory of the host computer,and introduced a method to implement high speed data exchange between DSP and main memory of the host computer under DSP′s master mode.The speed reached 96 MB/s.

Abstract:The article designed a data transfer system for DSP debugging system by using EZ-USB FX2 chip in order to solve the problem of data and command transfer between DSP and the host.It introduces the chip structure of FX2 and the Slave FIFO,and also brings forward the designing methods of hardware,USB firmware,driver program and application software.Practice results show that the system runs stably and reliably,and has a good application value.
