Abstract:While indoor air pollution dangers gradually are becoming better known,the importance of maintaining good indoor air quality(IAQ) is now a pressing issue.Therefore,identifying the best effective air cleaning techniques from among those currently available is an urgent need.The sources and dangers of the indoor air contamination are elaborated in this paper.The paper describes the merits and shortcomings of traditional air cleaning techniques such as the ventilation-air change and adsorption methods.The paper objectively evaluates new techniques such as the photocatalyst and air-catalyst methods.Finally,it discusses future prospects for indoor air decontamination techniques.

Abstract:Object To observe the indoor air pollution from interior decoration.Methods To select the house decorated different time, the concentration of CO, CO 2, COD and the formaldehyde in indoor air are measured.Results The concentration of CO, CO 2 was not significantly different between groups, but the COD and the formaldehyde is highter than the control's, and the over sanitary standard rate of the air samples was 100% in the group of 3 months after decoration 1 year after decoration, the over sanitary rate of the formaldehyde and the COD was 72% adn 100% individually. The ventilation can decrease in of the formaldehyde and the COD obviously.Conclusion In newly decoration of house, the indoor air was polluted by the formaldehyde and the COD seriously, and their concentration can lower with ventilation and passage of time.

Abstract:Formaldehyde is one of symbolic pollutants in indoor air pollution. The source of formaldehyde and its toxicological property as well as treatment and control measures was introduced. It was concluded that whole process controlling is necessary for formaldehyde pollution under guideline of ecological theory, including reducing the content of formaldehyde in decorating material and making decoration in a scientific and reasonable way, and treating the emitted formaldehyde in the room by biological, chemical or physi-chemical methods.

Abstract:Abstract In the decoration of houses, the use of decoration materials will often produce formaldehyde, benzene, ammonia, radon and other harmful substances, so there will be air pollution, water pollution and other pollution problems, seriously affecting the indoor environment, serious harm to human health. To study how the decoration of houses causes serious pollution to the indoor environment. And the main pollutants in the decoration material formaldehyde, benzene, ammonia and radon for specific analysis, to understand the decoration materials in the main pollutants on the indoor environment pollution and damage to human health and life. Through the study, it is found that decoration materials can cause serious pollution. We must pay attention to this, and take certain measures to deal with, to create a low-carbon, green and comfortable living environment.

Abstract:The status of indoor air pollution and its control in China are reviewed by introducing the pollution characteristics of major indoor air pollutants, the strategies and measures adopted to control indoor air pollution, as well as the major problems existing in the current indoor air pollution control. Although indoor pollution of formaldehyde and benzene has been effectively alleviated in recent years in China, indoor pollution of toluene and xylenes is still serious. Besides, studies show that indoor pollution of particulate matter (PM), biological pollutants, and semi-volatile organic compounds (SVOCs) might also be serious in China. The establishment and implementation of indoor air quality (IAQ)-related regulations and standards, the research on indoor air pollution and its control, and the development of indoor environmental monitoring and cleaning industry have played significant roles in preventing and controlling indoor air pollution in China. However, problems such as lack of mandatory standards for IAQ, lack of regulation and labeling of pollutant emissions from indoor decorating and refurbishing materials, lack of an effective performance evaluation system for air cleaning products, and lack of proper maintenance of air cleaners remain to be solved for further improvement of IAQ.

Abstract:Indoor air pollution is complex and serious. In fact, an on-site investigation of an office building revealed that the concentration of three typical pollutants (CO2, VOCs, PM2.5) exceeded the Chinese standard. To identify a better control method to achieve good indoor air quality, an orthogonal experiment was carried out in an environmental chamber to compare the control time and energy consumption of four control methods (purifier+ and window+, purifier+ and window-, purified fresh air 240 m3/h and purified fresh air 400 m3/h) to meet the standard established for pollutants. The purifier+ and window+ method was found to be more effective in most conditions, with a control time reduced by 8.06% and energy consumption reduced by 11.91% compared with the traditional control method of purified fresh air 240 m3/h. This research highlights the optimal control strategy for the air quality in office buildings under different pollution conditions.

Abstract:The indoor air quality influences human body’s comfort and health seriously, and polluted indoor air will not only affect human’s health, but also decrease people’s work efficiency, therefore, the detection and control technology of indoor air pollution is the focus and difficulty of scientific research now. Abstract:Detects the contamination status of indoor air. Carries out a purification experiment for controlling pollutant source and removing indoor air pollutants. The experimental results indicate that the content of formaldehyde released from the wood-based panels can be abated by continuous sprinkling with ozone-water solution under UV irradiation and formaldehyde and ammonia in indoor air can be eliminated using a reactor combined with activated carbon fiber and an ozone generator with low output on day and high output on night.

Abstract:Indoor air pollutant is a serious problem due to its wide diversity and variability. The harmful substances from construction materials and decorative materials may make the indoor air pollution become more and more serious and cause serious health problems. In this paper, the review summarizes the advanced technologies for the removal of indoor air pollutants and the development in the treatment of indoor air pollution by catalytic oxidation technologies. Meanwhile, some catalytic oxidation mechanisms of indoor air pollutants are proposed in detail, and suggestions for the indoor air pollution treatment are also presented, in order to provide some reference for subsequent research.
