On Huang Tingjian's acceptance to Han Yu's poem

Abstract:Huang Tingjian's acceptance to Han Yu stayed basically in poetical skill and law. In practice, Han's poems, as an important artistic origin of Huang's poems, were artistic intermediary for him to learn Du Fu. Huang was an example of flexible learning. "Writing poem by way of creating prose" is the centre clue to connect them closely in art. The turning point from Tang to Song Dynasty in Chinese classical poetry, began from Du Fu and Han Yu and completed by Su Shi and Huang Tingjian.
