Abstract:The library in the institutions of higher learning is the special stack room to collect literature of its own.It is of great significance to show the result of running school,to keep up complete data and to form a characteristic collection.By taking University of Zhejiang Science and Technology(ZUST)as an example,we analyze the existing problems in the library construction of the newly-built institutions of higher learning and define the scope of the library collection.Thus several methods are advanced to strengthen both its direction and initiative to turn the data base resources into the school's special collection resources as well as to grasp the timing node to collect library materials.

Abstract:Universities,essentially the outcome of cultural accumulation,are responsible for selec-ting,criticizing and creating human culture.They are not only organizations with intense cultural at-tributes,but also important carriers of culture heritage as well as significant sources of cultural crea-tion.Along this vein,this paper first clarifies the conception of culture.Then it divides university cul-ture into spiritual culture,institutional culture and environmental culture and demonstrates the inner relationship among the three.Lastly,it discusses the significance of university culture to value pursuit and daily practices of universities.

Abstract:Abstract With the spatial culture theory as the basis and from the perspective of cultural heritage, this paper elucidates the construction of the Liu Xiao Ling Tong Book Pavilion of Yunnan Normal University (which may also be interpreted as a Traditional Culture Commons), introduces modern library concepts such as ‘celebrity charm’, featured resources and space reconstruction, as well as provides enlightenment to the library cycle with Chinese wisdom and experience. This paper applies participant observation method, interviewing method and textual analysis method with the data collection period from September 2015 to December 2016. Through library space reconstruction and the inheritance of certain outstanding features of Chinese culture, the Liu Xiao Ling Tong Book Pavilion has had an influence among university faculty and students, the university library circle in China and even the entire education circle, while also complemented and improved the applicability of the spatial culture theory in the library circumstance.

Abstract:The analysis of present situation of university libraries in China shows that the literature resources and the readers are all diversified. The urge demand for the libraries includes fast and efficient services and group work. The university libraries are characterized as knowledge carriers, information servers and literature collectors. The libraries should be reformed to provide diversified resources, precise services and easy acquisition of literatures. The reform of university libraries should follow the way from library planning, resources construction to literature sharing. The construction of library houses, literature resources and librarian teams is analyzed. The reform will force the libraries to be specialized in providing literature services. The libraries will continue to function as a typical cultural area in university campus.

Abstract:The university campus conflicts,with the coexisting features of quick proliferation and broad par- ticipation,the nonsexual difference and the anomaly,the violence,the fierceness and the premeditation,getting worse in recent years,have affected the harmonious campus construction.The reasons for the conflicts are main- ly attributed to the asynchronous development of the students' physiological age and their psychological age,the improper anxiety,stress and catharsis,and the lack of the ideological guidance or proper education.There ex- ists many ways to coordinate the campus conflicts.The basic course"Moral Cultivation and Law Basics"plays an important role in coordinating the campus conflicts as correctors,guide,standardization and also outlets for the pent-up feelings.

Abstract:The campus culture is to point the basic behavior norm, basic conviction and value which all the teachers, employees and students to comply with. As a part of the whole social culture, it is mostly divided into three types of structures, namely material layer, spirit layer with the system layer. Accordingly, the content of the construction of campus culture mainly includes material cultural construction, campus spirit culture construction and the system of campus culture construction. Lack of the construction of campus material culture, the biases of the campus spiritual culture construction bias and rigid system of campus culture construction are flooding the reality. To improve the situation, we should adhere to the people-oriented and harmonious ideas, set up the system integrated construction idea, take advantage of our campus man's subjective activeness, make innovation lead the construction of campus culture, pay more attention to education reform and the era background and treat campus network culture correctly.

Abstract:Campus culture is a sum of thinking patterns, moral standards, behavior habits and values that formed during the creation and development of colleges and universities and it eventually became a consensus among teachers and students. Excellent campus culture reflects the philosophy and features of colleges and universities and can promote common beliefs and values among massive numbers of teachers and students. College students are a generation of activeness. With the interaction, conflicts and fusion of cultures, their ideology has also become multiple, diverse and changeable. The contemporary university students' values are showing a trend of diversification.
