Abstract:The reform of enrollment policy in each college is of importance to selection of people with abilities and implementation of talents tactic. How to implement polybasic reform on enrollment policy has been a significant issue to educational workers. Firstly, this article is based on High School Curriculum Reform started since 2004,and went back to see the process as well as features of reform of college enrollment examination. Secondly, the chief contents of this reform are improvements on evaluation model, examination scope, and admission model. Thirdly, it is expected to give answers to the questions of college enrollment Examination Reform for the public and suggestions to the future education and enrollment for universities and high schools by clarifying the five relationships between "gaokao" and other core conceptions like examination-orientation, burden-relief, departmental system, academic examination, and High School Curriculum Reform. The chief idea is that it is not necessary for "gaokao" to take the responsibility of promoting High School Curriculum Reform because its task is to select excellent for colleges but not to check education quality.
