Biodiversity Research Based on the Basic Theories in Landscape Ecology

Abstract:Biodiversity functions as the base of development of human,however,decreased greatly due to population explosion,environment worse,human disturbance intensively,and so on,which also endangered the sustainable development of our society.So biodiversity,as one of social hot spots,had been paid more attention at home and abroad.The life-force of new landscape ecology lied in setting foot on anthropologic key topics directly.Based on the analysis of relationship between landscape ecology and biodiversity research,we made a discussion on biodiversity research according to such landscape ecology theories as patch-corridor-matrix,structure and function,landscape heterogeneity,disturbance and stability,ecotone and edge effect rule,etc.Finally,research trends and dynamics were posed according to demands of biodiversity conservation.
