Abstract:Used Map Objects software as components,and Visual Basic 6.0 as programming language,to develop tourism resources query system for Luzhi River area of Yimen County,in Yunnna Province.After the system platform was chosen,some correlative data was collected,and then,the system structure was designed,and the database was established;at last,every function model of the system was developed and carried out.Besides the spatial-properties query function,it's main function,the system can apply many other map works,like spatial data visualisation,map renderer,map editing and output,etc.After the system is developed,it can apply scientific evidence for tourism planning of the area,and can provide reference for tourism developer and manager to make strategy.

Abstract:With economic development and social progress, geographic information science is playing a more and more important role in tourism development. Many spatial analysis methods have been used in planning and design of scenic development programs. In this paper, the application of geographic information systems is illustratedfrom three perspectives. DEM model, Voronoi diagram and Space syntax are used to help achieve suitable land use, rational scenic spots layout, and traffic systems, with which tourist split-flow may be attainable. This study enriches tourism planning methods, which may make tourism planning more scientific and operable.

Abstract:Scientific analysis of regional tourism resources is an important task of tourism planning. Its spatial distribution has determined the direction of tourism development to a certain extent, thus it is vital to reveal the spatial features of tourism resources by the GIS method, which possesses excellent spatial analysis function. This paper used NNI, mean center, standard distance, and standard deviational ellipse to analysis excellent tourism resources of Suzhou. It comes to the conclusions that :(1) the excellent resources shows clustering pattern totally; (2) Grade 5 human tourism resources exhibited the most clustering in the ancient city of Suzhou, rather than others; (3) this spatial structure both had advantages and disadvantages to Suzhou tourism development. This paper reveals the spatial clustering and spatial distribution of eminent tourism resources in Suzhou, in order to give good advice to the scientific planning and balanced development in future.

Evaluation of Rural Tourism Resources Based on the Tourists Perspective: A Case Study of Lanzhou City, China

Abstract:Rural tourism has become a hot spot in China's tourism development. Based on the AHP model and the comprehensive evaluation method of fuzzy cognition, this paper builds an evaluation system for the evaluation of rural tourism resources, including resource value, environmental factors, reception conditions with three criterion layers, and 25 evaluation factors. We recovered 574 valid questionnaires through two online forms and field research in Lanzhou city, and then used them to complete the empirical analysis. The results show four main aspects of the tourists' perspective on rural tourism resources. Firstly, rural tourists are concerned about higher service facilities. The evaluation of rural tourism resources pays more attention to the reception conditions, and tourists pay more attention to the facilities of the reception conditions. In addition, the reception condition value accounts for a more concentrated 810 points (61.4%), which is higher than environmental elements (58.87%) and the value of the resource itself (54.26%). Secondly, tourists' attention to rural tourism resources mainly focuses on the pleasurable (0.1152), tour line design (0.1014), experience (0.0765), ornamental (0.0747) and other aspects. Thirdly, the degree of cognition mainly focuses on nature (4508), environmental safety (4469), pleasantness (4387), accommodation conditions (4367), tour line design (4363) and other aspects of the rural tourism resources. Fourthly, the cognition of rural tourism resources is basically given priority with 69 points, and environmental factors accounted for the highest portion. However, rural tourists have higher expectations for the popularization and education of rural tourism resources, but the sense of acquisition is relatively low. Through the further improvement and improvement of the naturalness of environmental resources, environmental safety of reception conditions, and the enjoyment of external traffic and resource value, the overall benefit of rural tourism resources is maximized. The results of this study can provide reference for the theoretical foundation of rural tourism resources.

Abstract:The 21st century is the era of information economy. With economic development and social progress, people's material and cultural standard of living continues to improve and leisure time continues to increase, tourism has become increasingly popular as a kind of leisure way. The geographic information system applied to tourism management is the preferred platform of tourism information. On the basis of introducing the concepts of Geographic Information System (GIS) and Travel Geographic Information System (TGIS), this paper illustrates the role that the geographic information system plays in tourism management. Tourism has a strong geographical attributes. And GIS itself is information system offering services to geographic research and decision-making, which can play a role in tourism management. In particular, possessing the functions, such as data collection, storage, processing, spatial analysis and so on, GIS directly provides services for tourism management. The roles of GIS in tourism management are mainly in the following areas: conducting tourism information management; being able to produce a comprehensive thematic map. The paper analyzes the existing problems of GIS applications in tourism management. Take a panoramic view of the current technology and management system, the key technology and problems to establish TGIS are: the construction of tourism geographic information database; the establishment of data structure and the data model; the design of Tourism Geographic Information Database System. The essay also proposes the development prospects of the combination of GIS with new information technologies. GIS applied in Tourism Management has played a significant role. At the same time, it should be noted that information technology continuously changes, GIS applied in tourism management also need to improve according to the development of information technology to adapt to the information technology development. Looking the prospects of GIS applied in tourism management, the following areas need to be improved: RS, GPS as supplementary means applied to GIS data collection and update to enhance information collection ability of the system; combining the multimedia and virtual technology with GIS to enhance the attractiveness of the system for tourists; Combining the expert system technology with GIS to enhance the capacity of the system to solve travel problems.

Abstract:The coastal waters around the northern part of Zhejiang Province are confronted by serious environmental threats caused by the rapid development of the economy and highly efficient use of marine resources. In order to reduce and mitigate the possible negative effects of larger sea⁃related projects on the marine ecological environment, we built an evaluation index system to assess the offshore ecological environmental quality by analyzing the complexity and high turbidity of the water around the northern part of Zhejiang Province, as well as implementing an AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process)⁃method based on three aspects: water environment, depositional environment, and marine biodiversity. We used the entropy weight method to determine the weight of the relevant factors, and used the comprehensive index weighting method to calculate the marine ecological environment comprehensive index (S). When S ≥ 75, it implies that marine ecosystem is healthy; when 60 ≤ S < 75, it suggests that marine ecosystem is sub⁃healthy; And when S < 60, it indicates that the marine ecosystem is unhealthy. On the basis of this, we integrated GIS spatial analysis methods with a mathematical model to practically study, on a macro scale, the coastal water around the northern shores of Zhejiang Province from 2009 to 2012. The results were as follows: (1) the ecological environmental quality of the coastal water around the northern shores of Zhejiang Province are in an unhealthy state, especially in Hangzhou Bay, Xiangshan Harbor, Sanmen Bay, and Ningbo⁃Zhou Shan sea area. Abstract:The attraction of tourism resources is very important to promote the sustainable development of tourism industry. This study takes China's world cultural and natural heritage as the research object, and constructs an attractiveness evaluation system for China's world cultural and natural heritage tourism resources by collecting user feedback data from three major travel OTA platforms. At the same time, ArcGIS 10.7 software was used for spatial autocorrelation analysis and kernel density analysis to explore the spatial distribution pattern of tourism resource attraction. The results show that China's world cultural and natural heritage can be subdivided into 5 main categories and 10 sub-categories. From the perspective of spatial aggregation, only the Moran's I index of tourist resource points showing a significant spatial aggregation feature. This study is helpful to reveal the weaknesses of tourism resource points and provide reference for sustainable development of attraction and optimization of tourism planning and management.

Abstract:Ya'an Tourism WebGIS was constructed by means of ArcIMS integrated with ArcXML,JavaScript,database technology and ArcSDE.The WebGIS implemented many functions such as collecting tourism information,meta-data storing,data management and spatial analyses,which facilitates various displaying functions for tourism information with multimedia means.Two major problems often encountered in the construction of the WebGIS were discussed and the corresponding solutions were proposed.One problem was that currently there were no address-coding strategy suitable for Chinese nominating costumes,by comparing the nominating rules between western countries and China,a scheme by adapting the address standardized file to Chinese street address,and by developing the corresponding address matching software with MapObjects+VB6.0 programming language to resolve this knotty problem was developed.Another problem encountered by far was that a few WebGISs containing 3D near-nature terrain information,which was usually very much required or interested by the tourists,in our webGIS tourism system this was implemented by integrating TM with DEM and other information to realize the pseudo-3D visualizations.

Abstract:Distinctive characteristics of land reclamation have formed strong attractions, which inspired people’s curiosity and tourist motives. As a unique and essential resource of tourism activities, land reclamation with its highly patriotic spirit and eclectic heritages presents tremendous value in the Chinese tourism industry. However, there is no comprehensive evaluation system of land reclamation tourism (LRT). To solve this research problem, in this study, we delimit the connotation of land reclamation and propose the classification and resources evaluation system of LRT based on the combination of resource characteristics and tourism mode. The classification, balancing the concerns of unit tourist resources, and comprehensively integrated resources while highlighting the principles of universality and practicality, can be classified into two main types, 10 sub-types, and 46 base types. On this basis, the tourism resource evaluation indicator system of land reclamation resources has been built from the aspects of the value of land reclamation culture and tourism resources, natural and social environment, regional development conditions by the methods of Delphi, and analytical hierarchy process (AHP). The empirical research results of Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps (XPCC) provide us with a specific weight distribution prospect of the classification and evaluation system. The conclusions proposed a new way and method to evaluate LRT resources and provided a necessary reference basis for LRT development.

Abstract:Geo-tourism is a newly developed tourism item. Henan Province is rich in geological tourism resources, yet its geo-tourism advancement is still at start, with many problems such as old concepts on tourism resource exploitation, lagging in tourism infrastructure construction, lacking high levels of various item patterns, insufficient in financings and different investor bodies and incapable of deploying scientific research on and preservation of geo-tourism resources and so on. Based on the analysis of the current situation of the tourism resources and the geo-tourism development of Henan Province, this paper puts forward seven assumptions such as making evaluation of geological tourism resources, exploiting geological tourism scenic spots, establishing geological tourism network with geological parks as its core and developing combinational subsequent tourism items, and so on.
Multi-level Grey Evaluation of Tourism Resources Exploration Potential: A Case of Laozi Mountain Tourism Attraction

Abstract:Tourism resources exploration potential evaluation can be defined as the capacity of tourism resources to develop tourism industry and to gain economic,social and environmental benefits.The evaluation of tourism resources exploration potential involves not only the value of tourism resources themselves,but also environment conditions and development benefits which are necessary for the tourism resources development.Ot the basis of the combination of AHP approach and Grey Theory,this article tries to innovate the evaluation approach of tourism resources exploration potential by applying the multi-level grey approach.In the empirical study,Laozi Mountain Tourism Attraction is taken as an example.First,key factors which have important influence on tourism resources are analyzed and then evaluation index system of tourism resources exploration potential is established.It consists of three hierarchies,and is composed of 12 indexes.Second,the tourism resources exploration potential of the above six scenic spots in Laozi Mountain Tourism Attraction are evaluated and sorted based on the multi-level grey approach.The study shows that the result of the multi-level grey evaluation of tourism resources exploration potential is objective and reliable;it doesn't require a large sample and is very effective to fill in the gaps such as inexact and incomplete evaluation information.In addition,this paper applies multi-level grey approach in the evaluation of tourism resources and makes a comparative analysis between the evaluation result of tourism resources and that of tourism resources exploration potential.The study indicates that there is difference between them,high rating tourism resources does not mean prospective exploration potential.The evaluation of tourism resources exploration potential is more comprehensive and is helpful to resolve the conflict between tourism resources rating and tourism resources exploration potential.

Abstract:The tourist satisfaction evaluation is helpful to the construction and management of land reclamation cultural scenic spots. In this study, the Beiting Ancient Town and the Xinjiang Corps Reclamation Museum were selected as typical representatives of land reclamation cultural scenic, the network text analysis and Delphi method were combined to construct an evaluation index system of land reclamation cultural scenic spots, weighted by AHP, and finally evaluated and analyzed by fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method and IPA analysis method. The results show that the unique tourism resources are the strengths, while the infrastructure and service attitude are the weaknesses.

Abstract:Study travel is an educational activity integrating experiential education and study travel. The choice of destination affects the courses design and development of the activities. This paper conducts a systematic research on the evaluation of study travel destinations with the help of Delphi method and hierarchical analysis, selecting four factors such as facility services, education and teaching, geographic environment and resource characteristics to establish a comprehensive evaluation system of study travel destination. The paper takes the Shuping Danxia scenic spot in Lanzhou as an example. The evaluation results show that the development time of Shuping Danxia Scenic Spot is relatively short, and the study travel and course design have not yet been systemized. It is still necessary to further optimize the overall resource quality with local characteristic culture. The evaluation system established in this paper not only helps study travel educators to choose suitable destinations, but also helps to provide references for potential scenic spots to be built as study travel destinations.

Abstract:Tourist resources are the material basis of sustainable tourism and the potentiality of tourism economic growth. As the working criterion and technical guide for investigating tourist resources, the classification system of tourist resources is a very important premise of the work. Based on the criterion for investigating Chinese tourist resources, the new classification system was put forward. The newly added are three serials of natural, human and service; ten types of geologic landscape, water scene, climate and biology, other natural scene, historic heritage, modern human attractions, abstract human attractions, other human attraction, service resource and other service resources; plus ninety-eight patterns. There are three grades to indicate the scale of monocase of tourist resources, which are field, segment and site. The tourist resources also can be divided into three states: developed, to be developed and latent. Based on this new classification system, more consummate characteristic item was revised, and the quantitative evaluation of types tourist resources was carried out by taking the Beihai City as an example to validate this system and methods. In the end, the paper points out that in order to achieve sustainable tourism, China must consummate the criterion for investigating tourist resources, and expand investigations to provide a series of tourist extractive engineering for building China into a country even more attractive to tourists in the world.
