Restraining Factors and Countermeasures of Chinese Speed Skating Development

Abstract:Chinese speed skating used to be a winter sports dominant event which took the lead in standing in the world,but can't keep pace with the international development of speed skating in recent years.By analyzing the current situation of Chinese speed skating,the paper thinks that the main causations of restricting the Chinese skaters' development relate to poor infrastructure facilities and reserved talents,behindhand coaches' ability and training methods.It suggests some countermeasures as follows: deepen the skaters' allopatric cooperation to drive the development of poor areas with advantage regions and further use the limited venues resources,change the mode from the combination of exercise and education to the concentration of education and exercise to develop the skaters,improve the coach team by offer the young coaches more opportunities of studying abroad,play the guiding role of scientific training by increasing the investment of developing the research team.
