Considering the Development Strategy of Chinese Short Track Speed Skating from the Winter Olympics

Abstract:In 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics,Chinese short track speed skating team obtained outstanding results. For further promoting the sustainable development of Chinese short track speed skating,with the methods of documentary information,observation and visiting experts,the article has an analysis on the medal distributing of short track speed skating in every bypast Winter Olympics in order to find out the direction of developing Chinese short track speed skating. The results show that Chinese reserves are lacking in support,the mass popularization is low to a certain extent,the scientific research awaits being further developed,the field condition is in dire need of improvement. Basing on the above problems,it puts forward the development strategy as follows:drive the mass popularization by reinforcing the relative industry of short track speed skating; enhance grass roots development and training by combining the training with education; heighten the scientific research level of short track speed skating.
