Abstract:Social harmony is the fundamental attribute of the socialist society with Chinese characteristics.Communism seeks for the annihilation of exploitation,but it does not abolish the private properties obtained through non-exploiting means.Via the analysis of the "reconstruction of private ownership",we may come to such a conclusion that communist ownership comprises private ownership based on collaboration and private ownership without elements of exploitation.The nature of socialism entails the abolition of exploitation.The relationship between labor and capital first lies in their cooperation,which is also the prerequisite for the existence of enterprises.The antagonism between labor and capital is essentially different from the dispute be tween them.Thus,in terms of capital,a distinction should be made between capital with exploitation and capital without exploitation.As for labor disputes,there should also be a differentiation between labor disputes with exploiting factors and those without exploiting factors.Economic construction needs the cooperation between labor and capital.And the harmony between labor and capital is an important constituent part of social harmony.What tops social harmony is social justice,and what tops the harmony between labor and capital is the equity in wealth distribution.The harmony between labor and capital entails an important notion: an equitable and harmonious scene of the cooperation between labor and capital is cultivated between labor with reasonable earnings and capital without elements of exploitation.
