Abstract:The employment of university graduates concerns China's development of a harmonious society as well as their own.A sample survey among the graduates of a university in Shanghai in 2009 shows that they can't combine knowledge,feelings,intentions and behavior in their employment.This requires that governments,universities and employers should establish a linkage mechanism of graduate employment and jointly create a good employment environment,strengthening the integration of career guidance services to better meet the employment needs of the graduates.

Abstract:Based on the national scale of engineering graduate surveys conducted in 2003, 2005, 2007, and 2009 by Peking University, this work provides a statistic comparative analysis and quantitative study on employment results and job search process for the engineering graduates in China, as well as on the development trends with the massification of China higher education. Abstract:University graduates are increasingly in a hard employment situation with the popularization of China's higher education to foster graduates in a large scale.The situation is so severe especially in the post-crisis era that there are more than 100 million graduates who can not find jobs immediately after graduation every year.It affects not only the implementation of the strategy of rejuvenating the nation through science and education and through the cultivation of talented personnel,but also the social stability.By analyzing the reasons of graduates' difficulties in employment and enterprising,we can find workable ways and set a social support network of it from the perspective of social support.It is of theoretical and practical significance to promote the social full employment,enrich the theory of economic growth and labor employment,and realize the sustainable development of China's economy.

Abstract:Based on a national scale survey of 30 universities in 8 Chinese provinces in 2011,this empirical study shows that although there are lots of policies encouraging college graduates to work in the grassroots,the number of students who really go there is small because of their concerns about career prospects,and they obviously have a tendency to flow to the east.Human resources,family and school background and job hunting issues are important factors affecting grassroots employment of college graduates and the students who are willing to work in grass roots are always in weak position.This article also indicates that occupational status,matching level,starting salary and job satisfaction of those graduates are relatively low.

Abstract:By taking Qinghua University as a special case and adopting the mode of new institutionalism-based microa-nalysis, the authors made a case study of the roles and functions of university, government and market in the formation and development process of the system of master's degrees in engineering at universities and colleges. According to the conclusion of the case study, the university authority played an important role in the formation of the system, the government demonstrated an obvious role in the regularization of the system and the market provided necessary space for the change of the system in different stages.

Abstract:Students' career development is one of the important indicators to evaluate the university teaching quality. In this study,a sample survey of 422 graduates graduated within five years has been conducted,in order to find out the influence factors of Occupation Development Quality. We identified that family, school,and workplace are three influence factors. After the factor analysis using bi-Logic regression analysis,we constructed the institutions affect career model of occupation development quality of graduates, which includes four factors of professional competency,career planning capacity,schools quality,and intern-ships.

Abstract:Throughout its history of over one century Nanjing University has been cultivating outstanding scholars in an endless stream.With its core of converting "Balance" to "Integration",the heritage and development in Nanjing University's personnel training thoughts are typically demonstrated through such transformations as follows: turning the educational ideology of the previous "Four Balances" to the current "Four Integrations" and "Double Track Merging",turning the teaching method of the early "Trinity" to the "Three-Dimension Structure Mold" in the 1980s and turning the personnel training goal of the past "State-Level Gentleman Manner" to the present "Four Top Grades".In recent years NJU has been exploring "Integration Value-Based" personnel training mold cautiously and has gradually constructed "Integration Value-Based" teaching and learning assurance mechanism for internal operation.

Abstract:: The employment quality of college graduates is a recent topic of heated discussion in China. Given the differences in the talent development goals of academic and vocational institutions and in individual job search approaches, this research compares the differences between the job search approaches and actual employment outcomes of graduates of undergraduate and vocational institutions, and analyzes the correspondence of vocational graduates' job search approaches with their job search outcomes to identify the effect of higher vocational education on employment. Using the proposed methods, this study finds a significant gap in job search approaches between the two types of graduates and that higher vocational education significantly affects employment approaches and outcomes. The job search approaches of vocational graduates also influence their employment outcomes. The study concludes that the employment quality of vocational graduates is not necessarily worse than that of four-year undergraduates.

Abstract:: Based on a national survey of 30 universities in eight Chinese provinces in 2011, this empirical study shows that, despite government policies encouraging college graduates to work at the grassroots level, few students actually do so, due to concerns about their career prospects. Human capital, family, and school background and job search conditions are important factors affecting the grassroots employment of college graduates, and students willing to work at the grassroots level tend to be in a weaker position. This research also demonstrates that the occupational status, alignment of job and studies, starting salary, and job satisfaction of such graduates are relatively low.
