Abstract:Based on an analysis of the concepts of a professional degree,a Doctor-of-Engineering program and a graduate education quality assurance system,the quality assurance system for Doctor-of-Engineering programs is defined.A review is then presented about the internal and external quality assurance systems for Doctor-of-Engineering programs in the United States of America.Last,a discussion is made on the construction of a quality assurance system for Doctor-of-Engineering programs in China by learning from the American experience and lessons.
