Abstract:By using the usual additive neural-network model, a delay-independent stability criterion for neural dynamics with perturbations of time-varying delays is derived. We extend previously known results obtained by Gopalsamy and He to the time varying delay case, and present decay estimates of solutions of neural networks. The asymptotic stability is global in the state space of neuronal activations. From the techniques used in this paper, it is shown that our criterion ensures stability of neural dynamics even when the delay functions vary violently with time. Our approach provides an effective method for the stability analysis of neural dynamics with delays.

Abstract:In this note, the global asymptotic stability of a class of delayed cellular neural networks is studied. Some new sufficient conditions are presented for the uniqueness of equilibrium point and the global stability of cellular neural networks with time varying delay by constructing Lyapunov functional and using linear matrix inequality (LMI). A numerical example is presented to illustrate the effectiveness of our theoretical results.

Abstract:Two novel linear matrix inequality (LMI)-based stability criteria for the equilibrium point of cellular neural networks with constant time delay (DCNNs) are presented in this paper. The sufficient conditions of global asymptotic stability and global exponential stability are derived by employing a more general type of Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional and S-Procedure technique. Furthermore, we represent the exponential stability condition as GEVP. On the other hand, the results are presented in the form of LMI, and hence are easy to be verified. It turns out that the results derived in this paper are less conservative and more efficient than the most published results in the literature.

Abstract:In this paper, the global asymptotic stability of cellular neural networks with time delay is discussed using some novel Lyapunov functionals. Novel sufficient conditions for this type of stability are derived. They are less restrictive and more practical than those currently used. As a result, the design of cellular neural networks with time delay is refined. Our work can also be generalized to cellular neural networks with time-varying delay, a topic on which little research work has been done. By means of several different Lyapunov functionals, some sufficient conditions related to the global asymptotic stability for cellular neural networks with perturbations of time-varying delays are derived.

Abstract:Some sufficient conditions for the global exponential stability of cellular neural networks with variable delay are obtained by means of a method based on delay differential inequality. The method, which does not make use of Lyapunov functionals, is simple and effective for the stability analysis of neural networks with delay. Some previously established results in the literature are shown to be special cases of the presented result.

Abstract:The global asymptotic stability of cellular neural networks with uncertain parameters and time-varying delays was investigated,thus giving a new criterion for stability,where the relevant uncertainties are bounded and the uncertainties of system parameters are in relation to time hence restricted in a certain range.The time delay function changes with time,and its derivative is less than 1.For such a complicated problem,there is no highly mature theory about it internationally until now.So,the model to be developed relevantly will be more general in comparison with that as shown in earlier works.Framing properly a new Lyapunov funtion and taking LMI(linear matrix inequality),the sufficient conditions are given to system stability.Two simulative examples are given to illustrate theoretically the effectiveness of the method proposed.

Abstract:This paper provides a new sufficient condition for the global asymptotic stability and uniqueness of the equilibrium point of cellular neural networks with time delays. This condition is expressed in terms of linear matrix inequalities, which can be easily checked by various recently developed algorithms in solving convex optimization problems. By utilizing a delay differential inequality, a new sufficient condition ensuring global exponential stability for cellular neural networks with time-varying coefficients and delays is presented. Several sufficient conditions are obtained to ensure the global stability of DTCNNs with delays based on comparison methods (not based on the well-known Liapunov methods). Finally, the simulating results demonstrate the validity and feasibility of our proposed approach.

Abstract:In this paper, the authors investigate the stability of a class of cellular neural networks with (delay), First, the existence of equilibrium is proven. Second, by making use of the Lyapunov functional method and combining with the technique of inequality analysis and through introducing a series of (parameters), they give the sufficient conditions of the unique equilibrium and the global asymptotic stability of the common solution for the systems. The sufficient conditions are not connected with delay, and spread and improve the results of the existing papers.

Abstract:The global asymptotic stability was discussed for the cellular neural networks(CNN) with multiple time-varying delays.Several new sufficient criteria were given to ascertain the uniqueness and the global asymptotic stability of the equilibrium point for the CNN with multiple time-varying delays.The studied neural networks model expands the existing equivalent models,and the new criteria generalize and improve upon some previous ones.Moreover,the obtained criteria eliminate the effects caused by the neuronal excitatory and the inhibitory,can be expressed in the form of linear matrix inequality,and is easily verified using the recently developed interior-point algorithms.Two remarks were presented to demonstrate the effectiveness and features of the new stability criteria.

Abstract:In this paper, a class of generalized nonautonomous cellular neural networks with time-varying delays are studied. By means of Lyapunov functional method, improved Young inequality ambn≤ matï戮驴 n+ nbtm(0 ≤ m≤ 1, m+ n= 1,t 0) and the homeomorphism theory, several sufficient conditions are given guaranteeing the existence, uniqueness and global exponential stability of the equilibrium point. The proposed results generalize and improve previous works. An illustrative example is also given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed results.

Abstract:The problem of global asymptotic stability analysis is studied for a class of cellular neural networks with time-varying delay. By defining a Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional, a new delay-dependent stability condition is derived in terms of linear matrix inequalities. The obtained criterion is less conservative than some previous literature because free-weighting matrix method and the Jensen integral inequality are considered. Three illustrative examples are given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed results.
