Abstract:Global asymptotic stability of delayed cellular neural networks is analyzed. By utilizing Lyapunov functional method, a new sufficient condition for the asymptotic stability of delayed cellular neural networks is derived. The stability criterion generalizes and improves some of the previous results in the references.

Abstract:Lyapunov functional methods, combining with some inequality techniques, ate employed to study the global asymptotic stability of delayed neural networks. Without assuming Lipschitz conditions on the activation functions, a new sufficient condition is established. Such criteria allows us to include non-Lipschitzian activaition functions,hi the design of delayed neural networks. The result presented here is also discussed from the point of view of its relationship to some previous results.

Abstract:In this brief, many novel theorems and corollaries are presented regarding the global asymptotic stability and global exponential stability of cellular neural networks with constant and variable time delays. The stability conditions in the new results improve and generalize existing ones. Several examples are discussed to compare the new results with the existing ones.

Abstract:Utilizing the Liapunov functional method and combining the inequality of matrices technique to analyze the existence of a unique equilibrium point and the global asymptotic stability for delayed cellular neural networks (DCNNs), a new sufficient criterion ensuring the global stability of DCNNs is obtained. Our criteria provide some parameters to appropriately compensate for the tradeoff between the matrix definite condition on feedback matrix and delayed feedback matrix. The criteria can easily be used to design and verify globally stable networks. Furthermore, the condition presented here is independent of the dalay parameter and is less restrictive than that given in the references.

Abstract:Some sufficient conditions for the global exponential stability of cellular neural networks with variable delay are obtained by means of a method based on delay differential inequality. The method, which does not make use of Lyapunov functionals, is simple and effective for the stability analysis of neural networks with delay. Some previously established results in the literature are shown to be special cases of the presented result.

Abstract:In this paper, the authors investigate the stability of a class of cellular neural networks with (delay), First, the existence of equilibrium is proven. Second, by making use of the Lyapunov functional method and combining with the technique of inequality analysis and through introducing a series of (parameters), they give the sufficient conditions of the unique equilibrium and the global asymptotic stability of the common solution for the systems. The sufficient conditions are not connected with delay, and spread and improve the results of the existing papers.

Abstract:This paper provides a new sufficient condition for the global asymptotic stability and uniqueness of the equilibrium point of cellular neural networks with time delays. This condition is expressed in terms of linear matrix inequalities, which can be easily checked by various recently developed algorithms in solving convex optimization problems. Numerical examples are provided to show that the proposed stability result is less conservative than some previously established ones in the literature.

Abstract:This paper deals with the problem of stability analysis for a class of delayed neural networks described by nonlinear delay differential equations of the neutral type. A new and simple sufficient condition guaranteeing the existence, uniqueness and global asymptotic stability of an equilibrium point of such a kind of delayed neural networks is developed by the Lyapunov–Krasovskii method. The condition is expressed in terms of a linear matrix inequality, and thus can be checked easily by recently developed standard algorithms. When the stability condition is applied to the more commonly encountered delayed neural networks, it is shown that our result can be less conservative. Abstract:In this Letter, by utilizing Lyapunov functional method and Halanay inequalities, we analyze global exponential stability of nonautonomous cellular neural networks with delay. Several new sufficient conditions ensuring global exponential stability of the network are obtained. The results given here extend and improve the earlier publications. An example is given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the obtained results.

By utilizing a delay differential inequality, a new sufficient condition ensuring global exponential stability for cellular neural networks with time-varying coefficients and delays is presented. Since the condition does not require that the delay function be differentiable or the coefficients be bounded, the results here improve and extend those given in the earlier literature.

Abstract:Two novel linear matrix inequality (LMI)-based stability criteria for the equilibrium point of cellular neural networks with constant time delay (DCNNs) are presented in this paper. The sufficient conditions of global asymptotic stability and global exponential stability are derived by employing a more general type of Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional and S-Procedure technique. Furthermore, we represent the exponential stability condition as GEVP. On the other hand, the results are presented in the form of LMI, and hence are easy to be verified. It turns out that the results derived in this paper are less conservative and more efficient than the most published results in the literature.

Abstract:The problem of global asymptotic stability analysis is studied for a class of cellular neural networks with time-varying delay. By defining a Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional, a new delay-dependent stability condition is derived in terms of linear matrix inequalities. The obtained criterion is less conservative than some previous literature because free-weighting matrix method and the Jensen integral inequality are considered. Three illustrative examples are given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed results.

Abstract:In this paper, the problems of global exponential stability and periodic solutions for a class of delayed cellular neural networks are analyzed via the method of constructing suitable Lyapunov functionals. Some simple sufficient conditions are given for global exponential stability and the existence of periodic solutions.
