Abstract:The inorganic membranes prepared from ceramic materials were both resistant to a wide variety of solvents and stable at harsh operating conditions and offered many potential advantages over commercial organic polymer membranes for applications.This paper provided a review of preparation methods of ceramic hollow fiber membrane and the phase formulation mechanism,as well as the classification of membranes by the series of inorganic materials.Furthermore,the membrane sintering technology,modification and applications were reviewed.
