Abstract:In this paper,we show that if A is a simple unital C~*-algebra with tracial stable rank one and SP property,then A has cancellation of projections.With this result we prove that if A is a simple unital C~*-algebra with tracial stable rank one and SP property,then trs(A)=1.

Abstract:It is known that a unital separable simple C*-algebra A with tracial rank zero has stable rank one and real rank zero. In this note, we use the generalized inductive limits to construct a non-simple C*-algebra E-infinity. Then we show that the tracial rank of E-infinity is zero, but the stable rank of E-infinity is not one and the real rank of E-infinity is not zero.

Abstract:We study a class of stably projectionless simple C*-algebras which may be viewed as having generalized tracial rank one in analogy with the unital case. Some structural question concerning these simple C*-algebras are studied. Abstract:Let A be a unital simple AH-algebra with real rank zero. It is shown that if A satisfies a so-called fundamental comparison property, then A has tracial topological rank zero. Combining some previous results, it is shown that a unital simple AH-algebra with real rank zero, stable rank one and weakly unperforated K-0(A) must have slow dimension growth.

Abstract:Let C be a unital AH-algebra and let A be a unital separable simple C-algebra with tracial rank no more than one. Suppose that φ, ψ : C → A are two unital monomorphisms. With some restriction on C, we show that φ and ψ are approximately unitarily equivalent if and only if [φ] = [ψ] in KL(C,A) τ ◦ φ = τ ◦ ψ for all tracial states of A and φ = ψ, where φ and ψ are homomorphisms from U0(C)/CU(C) → U0(A)/CU(A) induced by φ and ψ, respectively, and where CU(C) and CU(A) are closures of the subgroup generated by commutators of the unitary groups of C and B. A more practical but approximate version of the above is also presented.

Abstract:We show that if A is a unital C * -algebra with tracial topological rank r (and write TR(A) = r) and dimX = k, then TR(A ⊗ C(X)) ≤ r + k. Suppose that TR(B) = k. It is shown that TR(A ⊗ B) < r+k if both A and B are assumed to be simple, or B is an AH-algebra. Examples are also given, which show that the corresponding equality could not hold in general.

Abstract:Abstract Let A be a separable (not necessarily unital) simple $C^*$ -algebra with strict comparison. We show that if A has tracial approximate oscillation zero, then A has stable rank one and the canonical map $\Gamma $ from the Cuntz semigroup of A to the corresponding lower-semicontinuous affine function space is surjective. The converse also holds. As a by-product, we find that a separable simple $C^*$ -algebra which has almost stable rank one must have stable rank one, provided it has strict comparison and the canonical map $\Gamma $ is surjective.

Abstract:We present a stable uniqueness theorem for non-unital C*-algebras. Generalized tracial rank one is defined for stably projectionless simple C*-algebras. Let A and B be two stably projectionless separable simple amenable C*-algebras with gTR(A)≤ 1and gTR(B)≤ 1. Suppose also that KK(A, D)=KK(B,D)={0} for all C*-algebras D. Then A≅ B if and only if they have the same tracial cones with scales. We also show that every separable simple C*-algebra, A with finite nuclear dimension which satisfies the UCT with non-zero traces must have gTR(A)≤ 1 if K_0(A) is torsion. In the next part of this research, we show similar results without the restriction on K-theory.

Abstract:We present a classification theorem for a class of unital simple separable amenable ${\cal Z}$-stable $C^*$-algebras by the Elliott invariant. This class of simple $C^*$-algebras exhausts all possible Elliott invariant for unital stably finite simple separable amenable ${\cal Z}$-stable $C^*$-algebras. Moreover, it contains all unital simple separable amenable $C^*$-alegbras which satisfy the UCT and have finite rational tracial rank.

Abstract:Let $\Omega$ be a class of unital $\rm C^{*}$-algebras. The class of ${\rm C^*}$-algebras which are asymptotical tracially in $\Omega$, denoted by ${\rm AT}\Omega$. In this paper, we will show that the following class of ${\rm C^*}$-algebras in the class $\Omega$ are inherited by simple unital ${\rm C^*}$-algebras in the class $\rm T\Omega$ $(1)$ the class of real rank zero ${\rm C^*}$-algebras, $(2)$ the class of ${\rm C^*}$-algebras with the radius of comparison $n$, and $(3)$ the class of $\rm AT\Omega$. As an application, let $\Omega$ be a class of unital ${\rm C^*}$-algebras which have generalized tracial rank at most one (or has tracial topological rank zero, or has tracial topological rank one). Let $A$ be a unital separable simple ${\rm C^*}$-algebra such that $A\in \rm AT\Omega$, then $A$ has generalized tracial rank at most one (or has tracial topological rank zero, or has tracial topological rank one).

Abstract:In this paper, we show that every separable simple tracially approximately divisible C*$C<^>*$-algebra has strict comparison, and it is either purely infinite or has stable rank one. Abstract: In this paper, we introduce a class of generalized tracial approximation ${\rm C^*}$-algebras. Let $\mathcal{P}$ be a class of unital ${\rm C^*}$-algebras which have tracially $\mathcal{Z}$-absorbing (tracial nuclear dimension at most $n$, $\rm SP$ property, $m$-almost divisible, weakly $(m, n)$-divisible). Then $A$ has tracially $\mathcal{Z}$-absorbing (tracial nuclear dimension at most $n$, $\rm SP$ property, weakly $m$-almost divisible, secondly weakly $(m, n)$-divisible) for any simple unital ${\rm C^*}$-algebra $A$ in the class of this generalized tracial approximation ${\rm C^*}$-algebras. As an application, Let $A$ be an infinite dimensional unital simple ${\rm C^*}$-algebra, and let $B$ be a centrally large subalgebra of $A$. If $B$ is tracially $\mathcal{Z}$-absorbing, then $A$ is tracially $\mathcal{Z}$-absorbing. This result was obtained by Archey, Buck and Phillips in \cite{AJN}.
