Considerations on LED Lighting Systems for General Lighting

Abstract:The most important specifications for general lighting are luminous efficacy and lifetime.LED has a high efficacy in theory,so it has great potential advantage over conventional light sources.This article analyzes the system luminous efficacy of a lighting system,and then calculates the luminous efficacy of LED lighting system and suggests the ways of improving it.At last,overviews are made for LED's application in general lighting field.
