An Angiographical Comparison Study of Right Coronary Lesion Between Chinese and Australian

Abstract:Objective:To explore disparities and similarities of right coronary lesion by angiography between Chinese and Australian.Methods:Three thousand and twenty one Chinese patients in Nanjing and 3 230 Australian patients in Sydney,both of whom were suspected to have coronary heart disease,were included in the study to receive coronary angiography.The coronary dominance,location and extent of right coronary lesion were recorded.Results:①Right coronary dominance was significantly higher in Chinese than that in Australian.②Among patients over 40,Gensini scores were significantly higher in Australian than that in Chinese(P0.01);and rate of RCA lesions were significantly higher in Australian among patients over 50.③Rate of RCA lesions in all segments and main branches were significantly higher in Australian than that in Chinese except intermediate RCA(P0.01).PDA and PLV of RCA were significantly higher in Australian.Conclusion:Compared with Chinese,both the rate and the extent of right coronary lesion were higher in Australian.
