Abstract:In the history of most developed countries, there widely exist double movements which means the contest of expand vs. against-expand between the self-regulating market system and the active society. It also can be observed in western history that states, social groups and the governments rounded into active so ciety to protect against the invasion of market and protected people's well-being, society, culture, and zoolo gy successfully. Currently, China is in a critical period of social transition which can be deeply affected by the Social construction. On one hand, social construction is the extension of economic construction. On the other hand, social construction makes contributions for political reform. Therefore, social construction should be taken seriously and considered as the starting point to solve the problem both in livelihood issues and polit ical reform field. To implement the social construction, we should firstly respect and abide by the social objec tive laws, in which the market economy is not the single right way to achieve our goals. Secondly, we should pay attention to the potential system and try to avoid the welfare problems happened in western countries.
