Abstract:The “Chinese Dream” has existed as a combination of Chinese characters for more than 700 years, however its connotation varies in different social development stages. At the beginning of the 20th century, Chinese intellectuals began to look for the “Chinese Dream”. In the 1980s, the cultural community regained the “Chinese Dream”. After entering the new century, all sectors of society deeply discussed the “Chinese Dream”. The development and evolution of the concept of this phrase actually reflected the vicissitudes of Chinese society in the past century. The “Chinese Dream” we are talking about today is closely linked with the limiting phrase “realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation”, proposed by the General Secretary of the CPC Central Committee Xi Jinping in 2012. The “Chinese Dream” is no longer a common word combination in modern Chinese, but a core concept of the ideological system of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era, which has been given a new and profound meaning. Abstract:The revolutionary historical novels, which appeared during the 17 years after the People's Republic of China was founded (1949——1966), are the important production of contemporary literature. In these novels, there formed tense tension relationship between traditional forms and revolutionary narration, while tradition was once treated as the secondary position of "form". However, the practical reading effect of the novels in that period, together with the hot trend of "the red classics" which existed from the 1990s till now, has brought us favorable opportunities to re-understand these novels. Among the novels, the narration in "The Song of Youth" is especially outstanding. Analyzing the duet of traditional narration and revolutionary narration can be regarded as the special and typical announcement to the narration in "the red classics".

Abstract:To examine the directions and developmental process of China's socialist construction at a time when the Chinese economy is growing rapidly despite the current world economic crisis is an act of no ordinary significance. Broadly speaking, China's sixty years of socialist construction can be divided into two phases: the first thirty years from 1949 to 1979 and the second thirty from 1979 to 2009. The first thirty years of China's socialist revolution and construction laid a solid foundation for the reform and opening up of the next thirty years, a period in which China's continued exploration of new directions led to spectacular achievements. History teaches us that the linchpin of building socialism is not whether you have a detailed blueprint for socialism, but whether you have a grand vision for understanding socialism and the courage to direct socialist construction.
