Abstract:Modern and contemporary Chinese literature, rooted in the soil of the development of modern and contemporary Chinese society, is in an era of extreme turbulence and change, which makes modern and contemporary Chinese literature full of innovation in writing skills and other artistic techniques, and at the same time, extends extremely rich ideological content and humanistic qualities. Taking Lu Xun's "The New Year's Sacrifice" as an example to analyze the humanistic quality of modern and contemporary literary works is conducive to further exploring the new vision of high school Chinese reading under the core quality, so that readers can obtain the improvement of literacy in reading teaching.

Abstract:The Chinese new literature occurring in the context of the May 4 Movement carries a conscious and heavy mission of enlightenment and moral ideals. Among the new writers, there were independent thinkers who adhered to enlightenment, radical thinkers who called for democracy, left-wing scholars who praised the revolutionary ideals, free writers who looked upon human nature as a temple, but without exception, they began with ideals and ended in tragedy. A whole century later, it needs a modern person to answer whether or not Lu Xun’s call for "warriors of the spirit" can call back the spirit.

Abstract:Abstract Thousands of Chinese outside China have been writing in Chinese and other languages since the past century. Some wrote merely to record their personal experiences. Others wrote to express their thoughts and feelings. We are beginning to have some idea of the aspirations and limitations of these writers and their struggles to define their place in their respective communities and countries, and in the larger world of literature. Each writer is a Self with regard to his or her immediate migrant community. As a member of the community, the writer is likely to have a different Self in relation to other ethnic groups in the adopted country, especially toward the dominant majority that has the political power to define national identity for all minorities. An additional Other would be the images of China. Also, some submit themselves to the test of globalization. Their condition can be better understood through the old Chinese dichotomy of nei and wai, with many dimensions of what is within and what is without. This dichotomy of within-without allows us to recognize the dilemmas of overseas Chinese writers as subjective and dynamic phenomena.

He deeply realized the significance of the path towards agriculture cooperation that changing the small- scale economy of agriculture. His works The History of Entrepreneurship, with extraordinary momentum, exquisite structure and vivid character image, answered the question of why the countryside of China will undertake socialist revolution and how the revolution proceeded. Abstract:Abstract This article argues that the classical verse of three twentieth-century writers, Chen Yinke 陳寅恪 (1890–1969), Nie Gannu 聶紺弩 (1903–86), and Wang Xindi 王辛笛 (1912–2004), is significant to the canon of contemporary Chinese literature. The literary historical merit of their poetry is due not only to its aesthetic accomplishments but even more to the poets' specific responses to the challenges posed to human dignity during the thought reform campaigns of the 1950s and the Cultural Revolution. Whereas Chen Yinke's last twenty years demonstrate the faith and hauteur of a scholar who wore the mantle of the entire classical tradition, Nie Gannu expresses the deepest despair through deceptively humorous rustic topics, and Wang Xindi's grief over separation and loss recall Du Fu's poetry of the An Lushan Rebellion. Although the thirty years between the establishment of the People's Republic of China through the end of the Cultural Revolution may have been a time when intellectuals were intimidated into conformity or silence, these three poets show that such hardship created an opportunity to exalt the spirit of individual dignity, if only through poetry.

Abstract:This paper intends to uphold the works of Gong Zizhen contains some seeds of the later new literature of May 4th Movement. It begins from an analysis of the main feature of the new literature—“self-discovery”, and examines the common feature shared in Gong's thoughts. Then it continues with a comparison between Gong's Bing mei guan ji and Yu Pingbo's Gardener, revealing their similarity in defying the restrain of individuality. And also it highlights the tragic and unrelenting pursuit of independent personality in Gong's works, and compares it with that in Lu Xun's works. Finally, it examines the new factors in Gong's love lyrics.

Abstract:Through the analysis of Xiao Hong's novel Sheng Si Chang (Field of Life and Death), this article points out that Xiao Hong's writing was quite loyal to the being of the modern Chinese folk due to her experience of frustrations with a sensitive heart. On the stand of enlightenment, she reached the perfection both in the depth of exposing the ignorance and savageness of Chinese folk and in revealing their firm holds of life and bitter struggles before death, which proves Xiao Hong among the best writers in modern China. Her poetic tone, lyrical sentences and hovering emotions, also mark herself as one of the modern Chinese writers who owned a keen sense of literary style.

Abstract:He Zhizhang,who called Li Bai as "an immortal banished from Heaven",was one of the most influential writers during the Tang Dynasty.He was once promoted to the position of Mishujian.And at the age of about eighty,he became a Taoist.He was quite accomplished in calligraphy,especially his cursive writing.However,except for a few well-known poems,his whole literary attainments were hardly recognized by scholars.Through years of research work,the author of this paper,has compiled a book named A New Collection of He Zhizhang's Works and thereby accumulated more knowledge and new understandings about He Zhizhang's literary activities and achievements.In his poems,he mainly reflected his own straightforward and uninhibited nature.And his poems which express emotions of nostalgia and farewell,record travel experiences and describe Jiangnan customs are of high attainment.In addition,he also wrote a large number of epitaphs which have been discovered in many places.He was the author of the largest number of the epitaphs unearthed in the past hundred years.These epitaphs were mainly written for people with special character and of high attainment,which can be regarded as biographies.

Abstract:Hajin's fictions in English has obtained a high valuation in American literature circle.He didn't judge China with American value,and not fabricated to meet American market as some abroad Chinese writers did,his"stories of Chinese People"are simple,clear and honest.But Hajin couldn't provide new point of view to see China for readers and his work also lacks of deepness and significance.Hajin belongs to the first generation writer of new Chinese immigration after middle of 1980s,which group not only has limitation of same age domestic writers but also has spiritual indifferent because living abroad.Comparing with modern and"New period"writers this group is usually not able to find proper spiritual start-point and theircreationsy is often blindly and uncertainly.

Abstract:Chi Zijian ' s literary narrative of northeast China over a century essentially embodies a serious and concrete historical record of the Chinese nation. It also makes efforts to explore the profoundness and vitality of history, the presence of northeast China, and the culture and spiritual philosophy of the region. Undoubtedly, such narrative is self-perpetuating, just as is the historical process of northeast China.
