Abstract:Innovation ability is the essential characteristics of an excellent engineering and technical personnel,and the important mark of an outstanding engineer.The paper focuses on outstanding engineers innovation ability training,mainly discussing outstanding engineers innovation ability and factor analysis,the innovation thinking ability training of outstanding engineers,the reformation of curriculum systems and course contents to meet the requirement of innovation ability training,the implementation of PBL to adapt to the innovation ability training,the building of innovative practice education system to enhance the innovation ability,and the construction of campus atmosphere to achieve the promotion of outstanding engineers innovation ability,etc,in the hope of providing advice and reference for the participant universities of "the Plan for Educating and Training Outstanding Engineers" to launch the educating and teaching of "Outstanding Engineers" innovation ability training.
