Abstract:We prove the existence of quasiperiodic solutions and Lagrange stability for a class of differential equations with jumping nonlinearity ${\ddot x}+ax^+-bx^-+\phi(x)=p(t)$, where a,b > 0, p(t) ∈C(ℝ/2πℤ) and φ : ℝ→ℝ is an unbounded function.

Abstract:We consider the existence of quasi-periodic solutions for the following non- linear dierential equation x00 + f(x)x0 + n 2 x + `(x) = p(t) where p is a 2…-periodic function and n is a positive integer. Under some assumptions on the parities of f;` and p, we prove that there are infinitely generalized quasi-periodic solutions based on a result of S.N. Chow and M.L. Pei for Aubry-Mather theory for reversible mappings.

Abstract:In this paper we study the dynamical behavior of the differential equationx″+ax+−bx−=f(t), where x+=max⁡{x,0}, x−=max⁡{−x,0}, a and b are two different positive constants, f(t) is a real analytic almost periodic function. For this purpose, firstly, we have to establish some variants of the invariant curve theorem of planar almost periodic mappings, which was proved recently by the authors (see [11]). Then we will discuss the existence of almost periodic solutions and the boundedness of all solutions for the above asymmetric oscillation.

Abstract:Abstract In this paper we will study the dynamics of the periodic asymmetric oscillator xʺ + q+(t)x+ + q–(t)x– = 0, where q+; q– ∊ L1(ℝ / 2πℤ) and x+ = max(x; 0), x– = min(x; 0) for x ∊ ℝ. It will be proved that the exponential growth rate does exist for each non-zero solution x(t) of the oscillator. The properties of these rates, or the Lyapunov exponents, will be given using the induced circle di®eomorphism of the oscillator. The proof is extensively based on the Denjoy theorem in topological dynamics and the unique ergodicity theorem in ergodic theory.

Abstract:This work discusses the boundedness of solutions for impulsive Duffing equation with time-dependent polynomial potentials. By KAM theorem, we prove that all solutions of the Duffing equation with low regularity in time undergoing suitable impulses are bounded for all time and that there are many (positive Lebesgue measure) quasi-periodic solutions clustering at infinity. This result extends some well-known results on Duffing equations to impulsive Duffing equations.

Abstract:We prove that perturbing the periodic annulus of the reversible quadratic polynomial differential system $\dot x=y+ax^2$ , $\dot y=-x$ with a ≠ 0 inside the class of all quadratic polynomial differential systems we can obtain at most two limit cycles, including their multiplicities. Since the first integral of the unperturbed system contains an exponential function, the traditional methods cannot be applied, except in Figuerasa, Tucker and Villadelprat (2013, J. Diff. Equ. , 254 , 3647–3663) a computer-assisted method was used. In this paper, we provide a method for studying the problem. This is also the first purely mathematical proof of the conjecture formulated by Dumortier and Roussarie (2009, Discrete Contin. Dyn. Syst. , 2 , 723–781) for q ⩽ 2. The method may be used in other problems.
