Abstract:Because fractional (p, q)-difference equations have great application potential in physics and mathematics, it is necessary to research fractional (p, q)-difference equations. In this paper, we study a class of nonlinear Riemann-Liouville fractional (p, q)-difference equations. Sufficient conditions for the oscillation of solutions are obtained via Young's inequality and other inequalities. At the same time, we consider the oscillation criterion of the nonlinear Caputo fractional difference equation. Some examples demonstrate the validity of main theorems. Moreover, we provide MATLAB codes for (p, q)-analogue of functions, derivatives and integrals.

Abstract:This paper deals with the oscillation problems for nonlinear differential equations of the form ( r ( t ) | x ′ | p ( t ) − 2 x ′ ) ′ + c ( t ) f ( x ) = 0 involving p ( t ) -Laplacian. The Leighton–Wintner type oscillation criteria are established without any conditions on the limit of p ( t ) . In addition, we discuss the applications to partial differential equations. Some examples are given to illustrate our results.

Abstract:In this paper, we study the time-oscillating critical nonlinear Schrodinger equation iu(t) + Delta u + theta(omega t)vertical bar u vertical bar(4/n-2)u = 0 in R-n (n >= 3), where theta is a periodic function. We show that, for a given initial condition u(0) = phi in H-1, the solution u(omega) converges as vertical bar omega vertical bar -> infinity to the solution U of the limiting equation iU(t) + Delta U + I(theta)vertical bar U vertical bar U4/n-2 = 0 with the same initial condition, where I(theta) is the average of theta. We also show that if the solution U is global and has a certain decay property, then u(omega) is also global if vertical bar omega vertical bar is sufficiently large. Abstract:By establishing a new proper variational framework and using the critical point theory, we establish some new existence criteria to guarantee that the 2nth-order nonlinear difference equation containing both advance and retardation with p-Laplacian Delta(n)(r(t - n) Phi p(Delta(n)u(t - 1))) + q(t)Phi p (u(t)) = f (t,u(t + n),.,u(t),.,u(t - n)), n is an element of Z, has infinitely many homoclinic orbits, where Phi p(s) is p-Laplacian operator; Phi p(s) = |s|(p-2)s(1 < p < infinity) r, q, f are nonperiodic in t. Our conditions on the potential are rather relaxed, and some existing results in the literature are improved.

Abstract:Firstly, we study the equation □u=|u|qc+|∂u|p with small data, where qc is the critical power of Strauss conjecture and p≥qc. We obtain the optimal estimate of the lifespan ln⁡(Tε)≈ε−qc(qc−1) in n=3, and improve the lower bound of Tε from exp⁡(cε−(qc−1)) to exp⁡(cε−(qc−1)2/2) in n=2. Then, we study the Cauchy problem with small initial data for a system of semilinear wave equations □u=|v|q, □v=|∂tu|p in 3-dimensional space with q<2. We obtain that this system admits a global solution above a p−q curve for spherically symmetric data. On the contrary, we get a new region where the solution will blow up.
