Abstract:Given an Artinian algebra A over a field k, there are several combinatorial objects associated to A. They are the diagram D-A as defined by Drozd and Kirichenko, the natural quiver Delta(A) defined by Li (cf. Section 2), and a generalized version of k-species (A/r, r/r(2)) with r being the Jacobson radical of A. When A is splitting over the field k, the diagram D-A and the well-known Ext-quiver Gamma(A) are the same. The main objective of this paper is to investigate the relations among these combinatorial objects and in turn to use these relations to give a characterization of the algebra A.

Abstract:We study the structure of arbitrary split Leibniz superalgebras. We show that any of such superalgebras ${\frak L}$ is of the form ${\frak L} = {\mathcal U} + \sum_jI_j$ with ${\mathcal U}$ a subspace of an abelian (graded) subalgebra $H$ and any $I_j$ a well described (graded) ideal of ${\frak L}$ satisfying $[I_j,I_k] = 0$ if $j \neq k$. In the case of ${\frak L}$ being of maximal length, the simplicity of ${\frak L}$ is also characterized in terms of connections of roots.

Abstract:In this paper we propose unifying the categories of cochain complexes $\text{Ch}(\mathcal{C})$ and modules $\widehat{A}\text{-mod}$ over a repetitive algebra $\widehat{A}$. Motivated by their striking similarities and importance, we introduce a novel category encompassing both. Our analysis explores key properties of this unified category, highlighting its parallels and divergences from the original structures. We study whether it preserves crucial aspects like limits, colimits, products, coproducts, and abelianity. Besides, we establish a family of projective and injective indecomposable objects within this framework. Moving beyond theoretical foundations, we examine the influence and interaction over these novel categories of the category of endofunctors and its monoidal structure. Finally, we explore the implications of our constructions over representation theory of algebras and algebraic geometry.

Abstract:Abstract We investigate the (separated) monomorphism category of a quiver over an Artin algebra . We show that there exists an epivalence (called representation equivalence in the terminology of Auslander) from to , where is the category of finitely generated ‐modules and and denote the respective injectively stable categories. Furthermore, if has at least one arrow, then we show that this is an equivalence if and only if is hereditary. In general, the epivalence induces a bijection between indecomposable objects in and noninjective indecomposable objects in , and we show that the generalized Mimo‐construction, an explicit minimal right approximation into , gives an inverse to this bijection. We apply these results to describe the indecomposables in the monomorphism category of radical square zero Nakayama algebras, and to give a bijection between the indecomposables in the monomorphism category of two artinian uniserial rings of Loewy length 3 with the same residue field. The main tool to prove these results is the language of a free monad of an exact endofunctor on an arbitrary abelian category. This allows us to avoid the technical combinatorics arising from quiver representations. The setup also specializes to more general settings, such as representations of modulations. In particular, we obtain new results on the singularity category of the algebras that were introduced by Geiss, Leclerc, and Schröer in order to extend their results relating cluster algebras and Lusztig's semicanonical basis to symmetrizable Cartan matrices. We also recover results on the algebras that were introduced by Lu and Wang to realize groups via semiderived Hall algebras.

Abstract:In this article, we prove Grothendieck's Vanishing and Non-vanishing Theorems of local cohomology objects in the non-commutative algebraic geometry framework of Artin and Zhang. Let k be a field of characteristic zero and be a strongly locally noetherian k -linear Grothendieck category. For a commutative noetherian k -algebra R , let denote the category of R -objects in obtained through a non-commutative base change by R of the abelian category . First, we establish Grothendieck's Vanishing Theorem for any object in . Further, if R is local and is Hom-finite, we prove Non-vanishing Theorem for any finitely generated flat object in .

Abstract:We study module like objects over categorical quotients of algebras by the action of coalgebras with several objects. These take the form of ``entwined comodules'' and ``entwined contramodules'' over a triple $(\mathscr C,A,\psi)$, where $A$ is an algebra, $\mathscr C$ is a coalgebra with several objects and $\psi$ is a collection of maps that ``entwines'' $\mathscr C$ with $A$. Our objective is to prove Frobenius, separability and Maschke type theorems for functors between categories of entwined comodules and entwined contramodules.

Lifting twisted coreflections against delta lenses

Abstract:Delta lenses are functors equipped with a suitable choice of lifts, generalising the notion of split opfibration. In recent work, delta lenses were characterised as the right class of an algebraic weak factorisation system. In this paper, we show that this algebraic weak factorisation system is cofibrantly generated by a small double category, and characterise the left class as split coreflections with a certain property; we call these twisted coreflections. We demonstrate that every twisted coreflection arises as a pushout of an initial functor from a discrete category along a bijective-on-objects functor. Throughout the article, we take advantage of a reformulation of algebraic weak factorisation systems, due to Bourke, based on double-categorical lifting operations.

Abstract:Let $\Gamma$ and $\Lambda$ be artin algebras such that $\Gamma$ is a split-by-nilpotent extension of $\Lambda$ by a two sided ideal $I$ of $\Gamma.$ Consider the so-called change of rings functors $G:={}_\Gamma\Gamma_\Lambda\otimes_\Lambda -$ and $F:={}_\Lambda \Lambda_\Gamma\otimes_\Gamma -.$ In this paper, we find the necessary and sufficient conditions under which a stratifying system $(\Theta,\leq)$ in $\modu\Lambda$ can be lifted to a stratifying system $(G\Theta,\leq)$ in $\modu\,(\Gamma).$ Furthermore, by using the functors $F$ and $G,$ we study the relationship between their filtered categories of modules and some connections with their corresponding standardly stratified algebras are stated. Finally, a sufficient condition is given for stratifying systems in $\modu\,(\Gamma)$ in such a way that they can be restricted, through the functor $F,$ to stratifying systems in $\modu\,(\Lambda).$

Abstract:A useful reduction is presented to determine the finiteness of Delta-good module category F(Delta) of a quasi-hereditary algebra. As an application of the reduction, the F(Delta)-finiteness of quasi-hereditary M-twisted double incidence algebras of posets is discussed. In particular, a complete classification of F(Delta)-finite M-twisted double incidence algebras is given in case the posets are linearly ordered.

Abstract:We construct examples of bounded below, noncontractible, acyclic complexes of finitely generated projective modules over some rings S , as well as bounded above, noncontractible, acyclic complexes of injective modules. The rings S are certain rings of infinite matrices with entries in the rings of commutative polynomials or formal power series in infinitely many variables. In the world of comodules or contramodules over coalgebras over fields, similar examples exist over the cocommutative symmetric coalgebra of an infinite-dimensional vector space. A simpler, universal example of a bounded below, noncontractible, acyclic complex of free modules with one generator, communicated to the author by Canonaco, is included at the end of the paper.

These results are specified for Gorenstein and Frobenius cases.

Abstract:We show that the relative Farrell-Jones assembly map from the family of finite subgroups to the family of virtually cyclic subgroups for algebraic K-theory is split injective in the setting where the coefficients are additive categories with group action. This generalizes a result of Bartels for rings as coefficients. We give an explicit description of the relative term. This enables us to show that it vanishes rationally if we take coefficients in a regular ring. Moreover, it is, considered as a Z[Z/2]-module by the involution coming from taking dual modules, an extended module and in particular all its Tate cohomology groups vanish, provided that the infinite virtually cyclic subgroups of type I of G are orientable. The latter condition is for instance satisfied for torsionfree hyperbolic groups.

Abstract:Let $p$ be a prime number, $K$ a finite extension of $\mathbb{Q}_p$ and $n$ an integer $\geq 2$. We completely and explicitly describe the global sections $\Omega^\bullet$ of the de Rham complex of the Drinfeld space over $K$ in dimension $n-1$ as a complex of (duals of) locally $K$-analytic representations of $\mathrm{GL}_n(K)$. Using this description, we construct an explicit section in the derived category of (duals of) finite length admissible locally $K$-analytic representations of $\mathrm{GL}_n(K)$ to the canonical morphism of complexes $\Omega^\bullet \twoheadrightarrow H^{n-1}(\Omega^\bullet)[-(n-1)]$.

Abstract:We consider $\Lambda$ an artin algebra and $n \geq 2$. We study how to compute the left and right degrees of irreducible morphisms between complexes in a generalized standard Auslander-Reiten component of ${\mathbf{C_n}({\rm proj}\, \Lambda)}$ with length. We give conditions under which the kernel and the cokernel of irreducible morphisms between complexes in $\mathbf{C_n}({\rm proj}\, \Lambda)$ belong to such a category. For a finite dimensional hereditary algebra $H$ over an algebraically closed field, we determine when an irreducible morphism has finite left (or right) degree and we give a characterization, depending on the degrees of certain irreducible morphisms, under which $\mathbf{C_n}({\rm proj} \,H)$ is of finite type.
